After a day of diarrhea I may have found the smoking gun.
The design allows unfiltered water to mix with filtered water, thus contaminating water you are to drink. I take my Pitcher with me when I travel to 3rd world countries and I need to be assured that the Juno system is 100% treated. I noticed that the "fill reservoir". the top part where you put in your tap water, leaks into the clean filtered water when you pour. The two sections are not sealed apart. Thus, if you are going to pour the unfiltered in the top reservoir contaminate the clean water. This insight came after a day of diarrhea and thinking through "where did I pick up the bug?" This makes Aqua Optima Juno NOT Recommended.
