The usual story - quality plummeted
Used to be the case that these were the gold -standard as far as India-style peanuts available in the US are concerned. More recently -1. The quality is hit and miss. Whither quality control?2. They've introduced a pricier variant labeled "double special" (aargh) - stay away from this.Overall your money is better spent elsewhere

Best Tasting (Indian) Peanuts
Every time i visited India, I would bring some peanuts for friends and family. Although all appreciated the Virginia Peanuts, the Indian Peanuts have their distinctive and (for us) superior taste; it is sure nice that when the Indian Grocery stores run out ( and that happened yesterday) these peanuts can be ordered from Amazon.

Poor quality product.
We have bought these from an Indian Store and they are bad, they taste bad. The peanut themselves look of and feel of a poor quality. Have seen and eaten better. Poor quality!!!

Product Good, Shipment Bad
I bought three packages of these Peanuts. One of the packages was bursted (they are supposed to be vacuum sealed) and the other not only was bursted, but was also packaged inside a plastic bag with the peanuts spilled everywhere (including the carton where the whole order was placed). Who would accept/buy an open product???? And.... when I went to check the product is not eligible for return!!!
