I've used my rice cooker 3 times without any problems. I haven't tried making soup or porridge in it but here's how I think about it.Pros:- Easy to use- Works like a normal basic rice cooker (1 button click)- The handle makes it easy to carry around without burning yourself- The size is great for 1-2 people only- It doesn't take up much space and it looks cute- It's super easy to clean, I had no problem washing itCons:- No manual on how to cook rice. (just google it)- If you cook more rice then the recommended amount it might overflow or leak- Some parts of the rice cooker feels like cheap plastic. I was afraid it might melt while cooking rice, but it hasn't melted on me yet. I'll update my post if it does ever melt.- The power chord is very short

I use this daily and it’s perfect. My dog can’t eat regular dog food without intestinal distress and the smoopy poops, so I make his food every day. And when we want rice for dinner, I just wipe it out and make some for us. This rice cooker is perfect for small living, very compact, very simple, easy to clean and store. And it’s adorable. My only gripe is the short cord which I replaced. Our power outlets in the skooie are above the windows, so this cord could not reach it, but it was easy to replace with a 4ft I found here on Amazon. Makes perfect rice, the steamer makes a great paddle holder on the counter and it all packs up when we move. Just love it.

This little pot works great! No issues and even my Chinese girl friend loves it!.

It's the smallest cooker I could find but not as small as I'd hoped. Cooks rice beautifully down to about 1/3cup dry, but IT HAS NO OFF SWITCH: If you want it to stop making heat you have to unplug it.The bowl is nice, clean and non-stick. I love it for the cooking and hate it for the no-off-switch.

It cooks Quinoa perfectly!!!! Love this little thing. Easy clean up, good instructions & so easy to use.

I finally opened the Box. Put rice and water in the rice cooker. Red light stayed on for 3 minutes. Then clicks over to the yellow light. Everything was set correctly. I let it sit for an hour on yellow. The rice was still not cooked. I’m not happy! I waited too long to try it. I trusted this company. Now? I’m not allowed to return it. This is garbage! I’m going to toss it!!!

I bought this for my daughter while she was in college. She loved it and used it while she was there, then returned it to me when she graduated. I have since used it countless times myself when I've only needed to make maybe 1-2 C of rice for a small meal. It's adorable, super easy to clean, heats up quick, and seems to take only a few minutes to cook the rice perfectly. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's in the market and only makes small batches.

No printed guide for cooking ratios. Had to go on line. Took long time to find what was looking for. I’ve not used one previously. All I found was ratio water/rice. What about noodles? Other stuff. No tool for picking up metal top tray. Hard to do without dumping what’s in it. It did cook the rice accurately.
