I have large cats, and they prefer litter boxes with open tops. The only problem with that is that there's a risk of someone "overshooting", if their butt is hanging over the edge when they do their business. I previously had a black mat, marketed for use in garages, but the top was a felt material, so not easy to clean, and it wasn't meant to be machine washed. I like that this mat is a slick material, because I feel it will be easy to just sweep off the litter, and it's machine washable. The grippy dots on the back are very nice to keep it in place, also. My only complaint is that the edges curl up a bit, but that's a minor concern. I also appreciate how large this mat is, it can fit my two large litter boxes with plenty of room on every side. A win, for sure!

Not just a food/high chair mat!My mom once said she used to put a tarp under my sister and I when we were eating in the high chair and I thought she was crazy until I had my own kids. This is a great idea!!!!Good for every meal or just the messy ones. It’s plenty big, but not excessive. But what I like the best is the grip. It has the sticky like a bathroom rug or grippy slippers. It’s not super thick so it can be washed with other stuff and not take up too much room in the washer. Maybe the space in your washer like a large towel. It is made of good material keeping your floors/surfaces clean and allowing you to do a quick wipe off and use again without fully washing.But my favorite part of what I realized is this will be great for arts and crafts activities as well as picnics. Use it to cover your table so the markers or paints don’t get all over or use it for a play mat at the park. It’s way easier to wash then a blanket or picnic mat. Totally worth it!!!

So I want to start off by saying that this mat looks amazing in person. The colors are extremely vibrant and the pictures are well done. I did not notice any weird or strong smells coming off of the mat, so that was great. I will have to update the review, however, after I get a chance to wash it to see how it holds up. I am wondering if the colors are going to remain as vibrant. No spills yet, so I will also have to update on the liquid resitance as well as how easy or hard it is to spot clean.Update October 25, 2019: So I have had this mat for 10 months and it has held up well. It looks just as vibrant as it did when it arrived. I have washed it numerous time on a regular and gentle cycle with warm water and my usual arm and hammer laundry detergent. I have also used bleach in the cycle a couple of times due to what was spilled. Either way, it has always come back out nicely. I do not let it air dry because, well, don’t have time since I try to get it back in its rightful place as soon as possible. I usually dry it on medium heat in my dryer. Has not shrunk or anything and no noticeable tears or signs of wear.Update July 8, 2020: My mat is still holding up well. It’s been washed a lot and still looks as vibrant. I’m planning on buying it again so hopefully I get the same quality as the first time.

This works great for under the high chair to keep the floor clean. I bought it because I have carpet under our table area and didn’t want to stain the carpet. The mat does this. However the mat itself is hard to keep clean. The velcro provided doesn’t stick well to the mat or the carpet so it comes loose frequently. Since it won’t stay tight I can’t really sweep the mat or vacuum it. Overall, a pain for crumbs, cheerios or whatever other solids get dropped. But it does work at keeping the liquids/purées from getting to the carpet so I guess it’s a win. I have not tried putting the mat in the washing machine yet, but it does say its machine washable. For the price its worth it.

I use this for a cat. It is very sturdy keeps moisture off the floor. It is light weight and is washable.

I bought the grey and white moon and stars first and liked the size and quality. And then I bought the bright-colored animal safari which is super cute, but I wish it was also available in black/white.Something to note...I wish I had just bought the moon/stars again. When baby is constantly dropping their colorful spoons and colorful fruits/veggies on the mat, it makes it harder to find them!

It’s sticks to the floor

My babies are older teenagers now so I did not purchase this for a human in a high chair. I use it for my 3 fur babies when they come in and have quiet time on a rug in our family room. I always put down towels to keep the hair off my nice rug, but in the rainy season, the towels just get wet. Plus the towels are old beach towels so they were brightly colored and did not match my décor. Enter the anti-slip, washable splat mat. It is big enough to cover my rug in one piece (instead of 3 towels), and the gray color is muted and matches my décor. The splat keeps all the hair and wet off my rug and surrounding floor, and is SO easy to clean! I just shake off the hair outside and wipe it down with a rag. My rug stays clean, my house looks nice, and my dogs are happy. Plus, the backside grips the rug so that it doesn't slip all over the place when the dogs walk on it. I love this mat! Highly recommend!

Disappointed. The stickers don’t stay put and the mat keeps coming away from the sticker which defeats the purpose of why I bought it: so I’d have a mat that stayed put and didn’t bunch up under the high chair. I don’t feel this was worth the money.

We are very happy with this mat. It replaces a cheaper one that we had purchased and I wish we’d gotten it to start with. It is large enough to catch all the food thrown from the high chair, and even an accidental glass of water, without going through to the carpet underneath. It is really large and works well on our carpet with little dots underneath to help it stay put. The print is also really popular with the LO who loves pointing out all the different animals.

This now stays in my car. It's so useful for picnics as it is waterproof. (not comfortable like fabric, but this does not get wet)

Ok. Thought it was waterproof and thicker but thinner and not so waterproof as advertised.

It doesn’t settle well on floor. Too expensive for a piece of Polyester like clothing. I don't think seller can call this mat.
