Excellent. Helped my dog's itchy and flaky skin! Some of my family members have fragrance-sensitivities so we normally use fragrance-free products in our home. Luckily this has a very mild mint scent that doesn't last after the bath. It happened to not bother my fragrance-sensitive family members, so anyone worried about strong fragrances/perfumes, this is might be okay for you. They were all happy they didn't have to avoid the dog after their bath, exactly when the dog is her freshest!

Definitely helps my boy
I have a 8 yr old shih tzu that has horrible allergies. The vet bills through the roof. By changing his food and adding this shampoo. I even drop it off when I take him to get groomed. Only time he has to go to the vet is for his yearly check up. So we’re both are happy.

Provides relief and soft fur.
So far the shampoo has improved our pups condition and his fur is super soft. This is really the only thing we have tried that has given any relief. We have tried diet changes, probiotic chews, numerous shampoos, vinegar you name it. Still early but we are encouraged.

Pricey little bottle but it worked for this human!
I developed a chronic itchy rash on my scalp due to using rogaine drops (common occurance I hear). After searching Dr. Google, it said to purchase a shampoo with ketoconazale. After a solid 2 weeks of washing my hair with this like every other day (leave it in all sudsy for a solid 10-15 minutes), the itching significantly decreased and after a month, my red flaky scalp was healed.The scent of this is very mild and clean-nothing crazy.I only gave it 4 stars because I think I could've saved myself a few bucks and just used like Head & Shoulders and maybe would've gotten the same results but a lot of the other reviewers said this one fixed their issues so I went with that... and yes, this shampoo did exactly as it was supposed to.

It Really Works
Bought this shampoo for a rescue Basset Hound and she was smelling awful, itching, and constantly licking. After a bath she would begin stinking within just a few hours. We followed the directions and after a few baths her smell went away, her itching stopped, and her constant licking ceased. Very pleased with the results.

Didn't work for my dog.
Our pup has schanuzer bumps and various skin issues. This did not seem to alleviate them nor did it leave her hair soft.I liked the scent though, minty.The Veterinary Formula ketoconazole shampoo works better for us at around half the price.

Excellent
My vet wanted to sell me a shampoo with the same ingredients for four times the money. I asked her to write the important ingredients down, I went to Amazon, and I found this shampoo. My dog's skin condition is already clearing up after just a couple of weeks.
