Just Wow.....gets ALL the stars
Apple wants $800 for this drive. I paid $140, got it in two day, came with Quality Screw Drivers and hard to find extra screws! Took 5 minutes to install. The drive already had OSX installed, just turned it on and away we go! Updated it to Mojave and I'm all set. Fantastic value! There are so few things in life that turn out to be a great buy, This is one of them!

Faulty product with Mac diagnostics showing VDH002
After I have replaced the SSD in my macbook air, there have been random computer freezes. The slow down in response is very clear. I did the RAM resets, fresh OS install and nothing came to the rescue. I have the same issue still persisting. When I ran diagnostics, my macbook air reported a VDH002 (faulty storage device). Now, I am stuck with a faulty product out and have revert back to my older 100GB SSD. I advise against buying this product based on my own experience.

Fantastic product at a fantastic price
Product was perfect for MacBook Pro 13” A1502 model. Easy installation, great tools provided (and extra screws to boot). It seems to be a hair faster than the original HD that came with the unit.

Love the extra space
Love the extra space Seems to boot slower. And have issues coming out of sleep mode. Not sure if it’s related to this third party SSD. Otherwise is working great.

Quirky
Worked ok for 3 weeks, but the computer goes to sleep when the battery hits 30%. It sometimes takes several reboots to get it working, then works smoothly for a while. It seems to always run slower, as well.

Easy to install
Simple install, with all tools you need. I was back up and running in no time after my old MMacbook Air HD failed.

SSD can't be detected in MAC OS Disk Utility
I use the recovery method and the bootable USB to get into the Disk Utility to see if the SSD is mounted, both methods failed, no SSD can be detected, suspect the SSD is defective, have to return the product to the seller.
