Meet My Needs to make my sink look like new
They work wonderfully because some filters don't do 100% work, but it works! They catch everything I don't want to waste, this Strainer comes in very good packaging and is much cheaper than local hardware or home improvement stores because I am looking for a standard pair of sinks and this fits the price very good. But this does not have a magnetic part at the bottom only the tip at the bottom that only enters if it faces in the right direction. not a problem with this with the common problem I face with lower priced items is their size variance, the size is really identical to a high quality metal strainer. And fulfilling my needs to make my sink look like new with a shiny finish that is nice and easy to use.

Works great and for the fraction of the price of big box stores
Had been needing some strainers. Only 1 worked and the 2nd one was bent. Had not bought any due to the price at the store. Was not shopping for them but happened to see these here on Amazon at a great price so I snagged them. They fit perfect and we've been using them for about 5 months now with no issues!Guess good things do come to those who wait.

Does the job, if it fits
The center plug is static, this is no the kind that you can lift and turn to switch from plug to filter only. Not the sturdiest, definitely has a discount feel. The middle piece is not actually metal, it's plastic with chrome paint. Didn't work out well for me since it wasn't deep enough to fit into our drain. Basically useless in that case.

Perfect! ...and for the price, just WOW!
Perfect! ...and for the price, just WOW! These work perfectly for me. I have bought several from different local stores, but nothing comes close to these. I just put them in and press down a lil while wriggling back n forth a little bit (not sure if I need to, just my habit) and they seal up perfectly. I am so happy with these two that I bought.

Glad I measured
I almost bought one that was too big because it looked the same. Fortunately I got this one which fits great.

Waste of time and money
Answer about 2 months, one looked like I had poured a highly volatile chemical down the drain, which I did not. The rubber had shriveled up so bad it did not work at all as a stopper. The second one, less than a year later since purchasing, has now shrunk up so much that it will no longer stop water at all. It's not like I use it all day everyday. This is a vacation home which only gets used randomly. The first one, I threw in a trash because the whole thing fell apart. As soon as I buy another one , somewhere else, I will throw the other one out. Waste of money and time.

will not go 'into' the drain hole
hello, I am not sure if I ordered correctly, but, the outer edge matches what I had. the type I had has a twist center and you push the stopper down to seal the drain. should have realized the current ones can not pass the edge either. So, does that mean I need 3" not 3.25" ? product quality is just fine.

Good Product
Works as described - Had purchased several at the box store and none worked correctly. Water in the sink would eventually drain out. Problem was I was not matching the strainer width and depth to the sink drain width and depth. Who said this isn’t rocket science? Make sure you match the two items above and you shouldn’t have a problem.
