My kid and I were going on a school related week-long East Coast trip and we needed to bring something. Not knowing how often and where we would be able to find filtered water, this was a lifesaver and kept us stress free. We filled up all over the place, from hotel lounges to bottle refill stations. The brita filter made the water taste good, and we didn't taste any metal or pipe taste in the water. It's also lightweight and easy to carry around.The only negative thing about it, is that it is plastic. The ice does not stay cold. But on the flipside, the plastic made it easy for us to pass all of the Nation's security systems. Some others with metal bottles were detained longer for further inspection.

Brita did something completely right with this water bottle. With their previous version my number one complaint about it, is that it leaked when tipped upside down. Countless times I had to make sure my backpack was standing up straight, when putting it down, to make sure that my water bottle didn’t leak. With this newer version they fixed this issue completely. I shook the water bottle upside for a solid 5min and nothing came out. Then I left it upside in a dry bowl for an hour and again nothing came out.Other smaller issues I had with the previous version is that the mouth piece was kinda hard, it was somewhat difficult to drink from, and it didn’t store as much water as I wanted.This “newer version” water bottle has a now very soft satisfying mouth piece, which is much better. And also the mouth piece is just one solid piece of silicon instead of the two piece plastic top with a silicone sleeve. Underneath that sleeve had a lot of built up mildew and other junk. Not with this water bottle, Brita did a great job redesigning the mouth piece.Brita also made this version a lot easier drink from. I can probably drink twice as much water, in the same amount of time, compared to the older version (I did not test this, but you can definitely notice a difference).And then lastly, the previous version stored about 22 oz of water and this version has 26 oz, which is only 4 oz more but it makes a difference and the size of the bottle hardly seems any bigger. I also really like the new sleeker design of this bottle compared to the older one. It feels very modern and simple, which is great. I also enjoy that the straw is now only one detachable piece instead of two. Again, another great decision.If you’ve been debating about getting a Brita water bottle, this is the time to get it. This is my third version of Brita water bottle that I have owned. They have made steady improvements with each iteration, but this one is by far the best one yet. They have fixed many issues and did something completely right. This is the Brita water bottle that I’ve been waiting for 8 years.

The water bottle is very convenient to have (I take it with me everywhere), easy to assemble, and easy to clean. Not buying plastic water bottles makes me feel good about helping the environment as well.

Pros: drink filtered water anywhere without carrying too much, filter is great, water tastes good. Definitely leak proof.Cons: initially difficult to draw water into the straw, top of straw difficult to clean, recommend soft thin brush; dishwasher did not clean that part well either. Wish capacity was larger, however, it does fit in car's cup holders.

I read the reviews and bought two. One for home and one to travel with. Easy to put filter into straw after the initial directions of running water on the filter to remove loose carbon particles during shipping. This will be way easier for me to use tap water then freaking out I'm out of plastic water bottles again‼️This gives me an easier solution for my hydration needs!! A quality hard plastic bottle. I like the push button to open the top.The affordability of this quality Brita model really is fantastic!! I definitely recommend and will buy more for gifts.It delivered with no issues at all! After about 1 hour I tested the flavor and it's doable. Way better tasting than tap water which is the goal ‼️ I really wanted the Brita stainless steel water purifier but this one is definitely more budget friendly for me .I'm really pleased with this purchase!!!

Absolutely love it! I did the 30 second water flush required and tasted no charcoal residue from the filter when used.Thanks Brita!!

Came in clutch for international travel!! Great tasting water. Ample water held it was shareable. Soft straw took a little getting used to but worked great!
