Needed a way of charging a modern laptop whilst out and about driving. This works great. The laptop complains about it being an incompatible power supply (as it's not HP branded) but it does actually charge correctly. The main limitation is the 30W power limit meaning it takes about twice as long to charge my laptop as the mains charger, but this is an acceptable compromise for the convenience (beats having to use an inverter and the original power supply). The fact that it also charges my phone at the same time is icing on the cake.This could also power any other USB-C PD device or recharge a power bank with PD input. N

Have used this for multiple years now without fail, great for getting fast charging in the car. Couldn’t fault this product in anyway, has a nice LED light and most importantly fast charging.

There are a lot of products coming out of certain countries with really shoddy wiring as 3rd part alternatives to expensive Apple products. Although this wasn't cheap, when I consider that I'm connecting a nearly £6,000 Macbook Pro (4TB SSD storage w/ 32GB RAM) or £1500 iPad Pro, powering my devices with potentially dodgy electrics holds no appeal. Anker is a known quantity and I'd rather pay the small premium then buy some cheap alternative from a vendor I've never heard of. After seeing the standard Apple USB-C charging cable getting slated with 1-star reviews in the Apple store, I bought the "Anker USB-C to USB-C Thunderbolt 3.0 Fast Charging and Data Transfer Cable (19.7 in)" to use with this Anker cigarette lighter adaptor. Although it's short, I can connect my apple devices to the charges while working in the passenger seat of a car, so long enough for my purposes. Indeed, the short cable makes for portability and I keep it in my man-bag with the Anker cigarette power adaptor.

The USB-C PD side of the charger is excellent, and delivers a lot of power quickly - just what you need if your phone is running your GPS and draining itself doing it.The only downside I can see is that the charger itself is pretty big. On some cars, you might find that there's not a lot of space around the charger socket, and in two of my cars, it prevents a flap from closing on top of it properly, which makes it hard to route cables neatly.

Excellent charger well built, comes top in many independent reviews. Purchased on black Friday so brilliant value. Using to charge my pixel 3a. Had other Anker products in the past and their customer service is also excellent.

Been searching for a while a car charger to provide power delivery . I can confirm this charger supports fast charge with pixel 3 XL and Samsung galaxy Tab s6. My laptop hp spectre x360 charged no problem with this but you do get the normal annoying message saying un official charger.BMW owners may have found on the newer models the front 12v socket is a slightly different design meaning not all devices work with it . This device fits perfectly and I have no power interputions due to bad connection.

Simple to use and easy to plug into your cigarette lighter socket.As it can charge two compatible gadgets it’s perfect for a driver and passenger.The blue light on it, makes it look really smart.

This works well with my pixel 2 XL, it triggers the rapid charge and my phone goes from 0 to 50 % in approx half an hour, same as the OEM charger that came with the phone.

I use this charger 6 days a week at work and the only issue I have is the aux ports that I have to plug it into. This charges my Samsung Note 10+ with no issues and keeps it charged. I am also using a Anker usb-c to usb-c cable to attach it to my phone.There have been times I have had to attach my usb-b to usb-micro cable that uses the other port to the cable from the tablet mount in the company trucks I drive to get our tablets to charge due to the low quality cable they have hardwired into the trucks and this charger can handle both my phone and the tablet mount with no issues. The tablet in the mount is a Samsung Tab A, so not a power hungry tablet, but a tablet none the less.I would totally buy this again, unless they came out with one that had 3 ports instead of just the 2.While I dislike the light ring to indicate that it is charging, I normally don't notice it and it is a help to see if it is loose in the AUX port as the truck I use it in are fairly old, 15+ years.ProsCan charge my phone and the company's tablet or my phone and my JBL charge 3 without issue.ConsOnly 2 ports I would like to have 3, 1 usb-c and 2 usb-bLight ring.
