I purchased a brand new Ashley chair on clearance (it still cost $650!). Love the chair but went to move it on the carpet and BINK! One of the back legs broke. I fix everything, so I tooK the black mesh under the seat off, looked at the cheap constructed frame and decided I can fix this. Looking around Amazon I found this kit. IT WAS PERFECT!!! It fit like a glove, I put it back together knowing it is better than new!

One of my couch legs was getting loose and these saved my couch, it has been over 6 months and it is still holding up well, even my Neighbour was impressed with these.

When the bun feet on my chair-and-a-half split in half, I wasn't sure what to do. I went online at Amazon, and found these beautiful fluted bun feet that I purchased, along with all of the essential parts to install them. My handyman was easily able to replace the feet on the chair, and it now looks much better than it did originally! I'm thrilled to be able to enjoy this comfy piece of furniture for many more years, thanks to the addition of these PRETTY FEET.

These parts seem to be decent quality and they work with each other. However, if you expect these M8 (.315") to be compatible with 5/16" (.3125") coarse bolt or nut, you will be disappointed. While indeed the size is similar to 5/16" the threads are not the same. The description listing 5/16" is misleading for someone who is not well versed in thread sizes. I tried them with legs with a 5/16" coarse thread hanger bolt and the threads bind after about 1/4".

Great for replacing or couch leg that broke. It was on the couch itself the wood broke and we needed a replacement to hold the leg on. Great product and quality

I purchased a gorgeous couch but the sofa legs were too short. When I purchased longer legs, they had a 5/16" bolt size, which was too small for the large holes in the sofa. This kit helped me adapt the 5/16" bolts to the sofa when I simply screwed the four square frames into the wooden bottom of the sofa and I screwed the bolts from the longer sofa legs into the frames. This was just what I needed, but I didn't need the bolts or the nuts that it came with.

It seems that this product would meet my needs. However, 2 of the 4 mounting plates were missing from the shipment. the parts were wrapped in plastic with only 3 of the 4 sides sealed. Perhaps the other 2 mounting plates fell out during packing process. Amazon accepted exchange request, and a replacement order is on the way. Now, I am not sure if I will have time to install prior to my event date.
