I grew up in New York and as second-generation Italians we did all of our shopping in Corona, Queens or Little Italy. Since moving to Ohio it has been almost impossible to find a really good Italian cheese. When you do find it, you have to mortgage your house to buy it. I decided to give this a try and was not disappointed! It's a little bit softer than the pecorino Romano that we got from Phil's Lattecceria years ago but the taste is every bit as good. Sharp and creamy and the price can't be beaten.

I thought I was crazy for ordering a costly cheese on-line. However, a good pecorino romano is hard to find.This tastes so good, is fresh and grates easily.

Horrible. Extremely oily and greese

This is good cheese, and the price is fair. I have no complaints about the quality.But when you ship cheese on a three day trip in the spring / summer, it needs more than ONE cold pack and a simple thermal bag. I'm sure, as a hard cheese, it will be fine, but I don't like cheese that arrives with oil seeping from it. Add a couple of bucks to the price and pack it better.

This Romano cheese is so delicious. Not too salty, a bit creamy on the edges, and it will take you toNonna’s kitchen. It is very reasonably priced for the quality. It is a DOP and makes me think I’m in Roma.I’m a bucatini devotee , so that’s what I made when this cheese was delivered.There was a box damage issue, but the cheese is well packaged inside.I wrote to Health Force right after dinner.I highly recommend this cheese. There simply is no better Romano online.
