Taotao Powermax Scooter 150cc Moped Free Trunk

I waited until after I went on a highway for a fair distance, before I wrote a review.. I knew that a part may fail, like with any NEW vehicle, a part did fail, the signal relay switch. And the part got shipped to me fast. (My mother once, "special; ordered" a Mercury Marquis, with a towing option, etc.5 different parts failed within the first 30 days, because of a fault, so I expected it. That is normal, in the first month, bad parts fail, and you replace them.) It took me about 5 minutes to do the parts swap, and it has run great since, when I remember to put gas in it!! I will not take this cross country, but I know that I can Around town, this is great. On the highway,the only problem I had were bugs hitting my goggles. I wish that the speedometer was easier to read, It is time for me to see about new glasses as well. IF THIS DEALER HAS A 250, AND A BIGGER GAS TANK, I WILL BUY IT. I am happy with this and it gets, about 94 miles a gallon. With my saddle bags, I can get a fair amount of groceries on it, and a better selection because I dont have to go to where the bus does. It has free heating during the summer and free cooling during the winter. The grins it gives me are free.

Okay so 1500 miles on this scooter so far,am happy with. Had only one problem the carb broke dont know why but i got another one from amazon it was 36 dollars n it was a better quality also gave the bike more power n acelaration respond was a lot better. I'm 5.9 weigth 208 pounds n this scooter can take me on the highway at 65 miles n hour. I do recommend this scooter to cruse around town, takes 3 dollars of gas every 2 days but i drive a lot insurance was 80 dollars for the entire year. Breaks are not that great. I do llan on getinf better breaks for this bike.

It is cheap but ive only put 60 miles on it and its already sitting in my garage as the handle bars are loose and have slack when turning wheel i already took it apart and put it together and tightnend everything. Also front plate isnt secure even when it ran everytime i drove it it would start to come off and i would have to push it down as well as the clips are really cheap no screws to hold down that front plate that has thebheadlights

At first it was nice to ride, then it all started falling apart. Might have just been mine but the one I got is a piece of junk and I regret buying it. As far as speed, tops at 50 unless you are going downhill. Just spend the extra money if you can and get a different brand and higher cc engine.

The battery did not work had to buy a new 96 bucks the vid n u tube support was not accurate fuel line was pinched n leeked had to fix

Fairly easy assembly. However it came damaged. I think the shipper is to blame for some of the other reviews. After investigating, the driver of the shipping company didn’t file his report accurately to the damages and that left me screwged.The company graciously offered to order any pieces to to me. The girls via phone were all very nice and professional. Thanks everyone. I’d buy again!!

Given the price, this is a great deal on a scooter. Be prepared to put it together - in our case we had to get a neighbor (retired mechanic) to help because the front disc brake was stuck. That said, once we got it put together, it started right up and has been used by the teenager all over the neighborhood. The seller was great in providing updated paperwork showing it as a 50cc, so we could register it.
