Can this be used with a peg?

Yes, when my wife was being fed thru a peg tube, I dissolved a scoop portion of beneprotein into her food formula. Works well.

Are all whey proteins the same? This brand seems to be twice as expensive as others

No, not all whey proteins are the same. When I bought this, (a long time ago), it had soy protein isolate. I've read that it works like an estrogen and can also cause cancer as too much estrogen can do (like when one takes birth control pills). I don't know all the details about whey protein, but I get my information from BioTrustNutrition.com. You can search the articles on that website.
