Metropolitan Tea Pink Rose Ceramic Tea For Me Pot

We purchased this for our 9 yr. old granddaughter who is a tea lover. The price was perfect, as was the teapot/cup. Made her feel very grown up. Perfect gift.

Much smaller than expected.

Love these little tea pots. I have one on my desk at work for coffee and tea. It keeps me from having to continually walk back and forth to the break room. My 16 year old daughter Has one for hot cocoa. Pot holds about 2 - 2.5 cups. Love this product!

This is a flawed design. It looks good, but is too awkward to use with hot liquid, and 'drippy' as all get out.UPDATE: Okay, I persevered with his item because it really is useful to me. Why? Because I want something that can process no more than eight ounces of a brew so that I have to get away from my desk to drink some more. Otherwise, sitting with a larger pot just keeps me sitting at my desk too long. So, this was my learning curve:I figured out how to use this set. Of course you prime the pot, empty the water after a minute or so, place in the tea bag and then refill it for the require steeping time. But here’s the rub: After you have taken out the tea bag and have put the lid back on, to pour you place your *thumb* into the teapot’s loop handle and grab this loop handle with the rest of that hand and then pour. This way your hand does not touch the scalding hot pot and it feels real good and secure while pouring. Also, with a finger on your other hand you hold the lid down while pouring. NOW, to drink from the cup you place your *index finger* into the cup’s loop handle and **sip from the opposite end**, i.e., you do not try to hold this cup’s loop handle like a conventional tea cup. When you hold the cup this way you will also be ‘cupping’ the cup with one OR both, whole hand(s), and it is a nice experience—something like drinking from a bowl. This has made all the difference and I know enjoy using this ‘one person’ set. It still is a ‘drippy’ pour, though, but you learn how to mitigate this with a bit of technique. Hope this helps.
