One big weak point
This would be the perfect flashlight if not but for two knocks against it.For my purpose I would have loved a tighter zoom/focus as I often need to shine it on hotel balconies at night without bothering neighboring rooms. The lense thread where the red line shines through is PLASTIC making it extremely brittle and it actually just broke on me.I love having the ability to select the brightness before turning on the light. The little green light is nice as a way to politely check visitors for property passes. If it were more durable it'd be the best light I've ever owned as a security attendant.

Annoying Behaviors Outweigh Good Features
The media could not be loaded.  I use a flashlight all day, everyday. I am a home inspector, and my flash light is with me and generally in my hands 3-6 hours each day. I need a flash light that does not have annoying issues. The NEBO flashlight has several good features, and in general I like it, but it also has some annoying issues that make me crazy. The video shows the light flicker and how the lens focus turns the light off in some positions (the off button is on the end of the flash light) It was too difficult to show how the parts all turn so easily and get in the way of rotating the desired part.First - When I’m in the crawl space under a house, I have the flash light in my right hand and invariably the light intensity selector gets bumped and the stobe comes on, or the light goes off all together. Oh My God! I’m in a dark, confined space and I’m dealing with a strobe light. Please make this feature more difficult to turn on, NOBODY uses the strobe on a regular basis.Second - After a few months of use, on both of my NEBO lights, the light begins to flicker. It is a faint flicker at first but continues to get worse over time. Both flash lights do this and I had another that I returned due to broken parts that did the same. NO! That is highly annoying. I clean the battery, and the spring coils on the light and that helps. Cleaning the coil down inside the light is not easy. I assume this is from corrosion.Third - In some positions, the lens focus dial, when turned to the widest light pattern, causes the light to go out, and/or flicker. Ahhhhgh! Usually it’s when I’m in the crawl space or in a hot attic. This should never happen. This has been the case for all three lights and I can repeat the issue easily.Fourth - EVERYTHING TURNS. There are seven (7) components that turn on the flash light. Try to tighten one of them without turning or loosening one of the others. It’s the most “loosie/goosy” tool I’ve every used. I want to set the rings in a particular position and have them stay there. I should be able to apply a proper amount of force to tighten or loosen any part of the light without loosening another part. A pair of pliers is often the only way. I’ve resorted to applying adhesive to make the parts less “loose”.Fifth - For a flash light that is made of "aircraft grade anodized aluminum", it broke more easily than I expected. They couldn’t help but put a bit of plastic on the light. Near the lens, there is a “cool” red plastic ring that lights up. That ring breaks more easily than it should. I know, I’ve broken one.I purchased 3 at about $60 each. Now they are about $40-$50, but I will not buy another. I’m looking for a better light, this one is ok, but is not worth the asking price.

Functional, but FAR too fragile... with awful customer support. Tragic.
This had the potential to be one of the best flashlights on the market. The functionality of this flashlight is off the charts. You can switch between lighting modes with a dial instead of having to awkwardly mash the button over and over like nearly every other flashlight. The USB charging eliminates the hassle of juggling smaller batteries. The strobe light is powerful, the magnet on the rear switch allows the flashlight to stick to metal surfaces for hands-free lighting, and even the subtle green reading light has been valuable for providing just enough light to read in dark environments without disturbing people around me.So why...WHY....Why did the manufacturers decide that the red screw-in piece that mounts the lens to the frame of flashlight be made of FRAGILE PLASTIC?That's right. One solid drop is all it takes to crack the threaded ring and the lens will fall right off, rendering your flashlight useless. Don't even TRY to physically use this flashlight in a self-defense situation unless you want the attacker to laugh themselves to death because the head of your flashlight snapped like a cheap toy.Oh, and if you want to replace that one little plastic piece? Too bad. The manufacturers won't even try to help you once you're past the warranty. They made no attempt to give me a reassuring answer as to how or when they'll have any spare parts. I've been trying for months to find that one dumb little screw-in piece and the best advice the vendors could give me was to "find a cheap, used Redline Select and take the lens from that one". WHAT?I've resorted to jury-rigging my Redline Select by using a paper clip to jam the broken screw-in piece into the body of the light and then wrapping the entire assembly in electrical tape. It still feels flimsy, but it's all I can do.Do NOT bother with this light for any kind of serious use. It's a novelty. A cheap light from the 99 cents store stands a better chance at surviving a drop than this thing.

Great until stopped charging within a month.
Pretty well built light with some issues. The number of circular rings make the handle feel cluttered. Main thing is the light toggle wheel which is so sensitive that the modes switch just by barely grazing it.Not a dealbreaker but the fact the damn thing stopped charging via usb within a month of normal use (no drops, nothing is).At least the charging light stopped flashing blue so no way to tell if it’s taking a charge.Your mileage may vary.
