This is a solid camera mount with quick release for tripods with a 3/8" mounting screw. It was a little smaller (hence lighter) and more compact than I expected it to be from the online photos. For my use with closeup photography, where a need a solid mount capable of holding camera and heavy lens at all angles I believe it will be very nice, and the light weight is a plus. But where weight is not critical, and for videographers needing a smooth panning mount with easily accessible handle knobs, the small size of the knobs could be an issue. Also, the quick release knob is not as quick to use as a lever. Overall, a well-made, light and sturdy camera mount.

Very happy with this ball head. It is study, handles a good amount of weight and does not require much effort to lock the ball head. If I had to nit-pick, I would say that I wished that the panning function had a tiny bit more resistance, but it is definitely smooth as it is.

Very smooth operation. Can easily hold larger full-frame mirrorless or DSLR cameras with larger zoom lenses.

Simple, strong and works great on my monopod to support my Fuji XT20 and lenses.

I just returned from a 4-day trip to Moab, UT where I put this little ball head through its paces. I used it on top of a carbon Sirui travel tripod, and they were a great complement to one another. The B-00 has a wonderful main locking lever that is just the right size to give good cranking force, and if it’s pulled out just slightly away from the ball head, it can be readjusted and “clocked” in any position to fit your grip. This locking lever is so much better for me than a small knob, which can be hard to tighten or loosen quickly. The ball locks down solid and stays put. The quick release TY-C10 mounting plate is tiny but does a great job holding small and large cameras alike. I used it for hours and hours every day on a Sony RX100M7 and the plate never loosened from the camera, nor the plate from the ball head. Even using the setup with a Canon 6D with a 100-400mm lense (a pretty heavy setup) left me with no worries. The only thing I wasn’t 100% in love with was the ball head mounting to the tripod. It’s a little hard to snug the head down tightly enough that it won’t spin on my tripod if I accidentally go to rotate the camera but forget to loosen the pan lock knob. I got it snug enough but it took more torque than I expected.

A little expensive but very high quality. Have one of their tripods and it is also very good.

Nice product. Fitted it on my carbon fibre monopod and it works fine. Control knobs for pan, tilt work very well
