This product description says this charger is compatible with Acer Nitro 5, however the very first time I used it I encountered a hardware error blue screen computer crash. Upon closer inspection, the voltage output on this AC Adapter is higher than the one I received with the laptop. Hopefully no long term damage has been done...

Wanted a cheap 2nd laptop charger for my Acer nitro 5, this works great. Everything I needed it to be.

Second one I try now...first one lasted maybe three weeks and never would charge while laptop was in use...had to be shut down to charge. Second one I purchased to give it another try didn't work from the get go and completely stopped charging next day. Had to return. I do not recommend.
