Granite Ware Baking Pan 14" x 9" x 2"
It was so hard to find Granite Ware baking pans, I was very glad to find these on Amazon.com! Overall, they are exactly what I was looking for. The enamel coating on Granite Ware is THE BEST type of non-stick coating. Much better than Teflon, which tends to come off (sometimes in your food!), leaving you with dirty-looking, rusty pans after just a couple of years. My only complaint about the Granite Ware pans is that both of them were chipped in places. I considered sending them back, but since the chipped spots were on the edge, not inside where the food goes, and were small, I figured maybe they're all chipped somewhere along the edge, so I kept the ones I got. I know, from experience, that once the enamel chips off, the metal will get rusty there. But a little rusty spot on the edge sure beats rust all over the thing, as is the case with all my Teflon-coated bakeware!Oh - another plus: They're made in the U.S.A.!Now, if only they would make the Granite-Ware pans in a variety of colors!

Sturdy, well made product
I am so tired of using the Teflon coated baking pans as they don't last. Then I remembered my mom used to make chicken and turkey in these granite pans. So I bought 2. I like to bake my chicken for 4 hours to ensure it is properly cooked as if chicken are undercooked the meat tastes gamey. I used some Wilton baking pans at high heat (400 degrees) and within 3 weeks they were ruined. So far I've used these pans for baking chicken at 400 degrees for 4 hours and they have held up! No surprise here. Just wondering why I took so long to order them. These babies will last me for the next 50 years.

Highly recommended.
I bought this for my wife. She loves it.It did have a flaw. Looks like whoever grabbed the item after it came out of a cooker to apply the coating...left finger prints through the enamel on the front and back.My wife contacted the company, took a couple pictures showing that the enamel was missing, and the company shipped her a new pan, free of charge. When a company stands by their product like this, and it is a good product, I am willing to stand with them.

Performed well.
It's not as heavy duty as its historical predecessors which causes the edges to be a little sharp, but it performed well at 400 degrees with a leaky stromboli. I was able to pull the baked-on cheese off with my fingers. With all the sub-standard coatings being used in our "green" market, I am grateful to find this type of pan still being sold in any form! I just wish it was slightly deeper and heavier-guage. I would gladly pay more.

Good Pan Fits Solar Oven
I was looking for black pans for use in my solar oven. I haven't used it for lasagna yet but have used it for cookies and french bread. My only complaint so far is that I would prefer the bottom to be completely flat, the interior edge of the bottom is a bit lower than the center section.Overall I have been impressed with Granite Ware pans and they are a great value.

Great pan but not for lasagna
Pan is great but way too small to bake lasagna

Nice lasagna pan
The enameled steel has so far done a good job as a great non-stick coating: durable and heat resistant. Definitely beats Teflon for use in the oven, which scratches easily and starts to degrade at about 260 C/500 FOnly one complaint: the edges are still a bit sharp. This would be a better product if the price were raised a few dollars and the edges were rolled

Great Bake Pan
I had one of these for years before I finally decided to recycle it and get another one. This pan cooks food much better than my stainless steel one and is not heavy like the S.Steel pan. Love the size and the way it cooks. A+++++

Great pans!
Delivery was sooner than expected so that is great! These Granite Ware pans are exactly what I need: non-stick (relatively speaking, better than all others I've tried), easy to clean, can withstand 500 degree broiling heat without buckling and are inexpensive.
