Paper Mate Comfort Mate Ultra Mechanical Pencil Set, 0.5mm, HB #2, Assorted Colors, with lead and eraser, 4 Count

I love these mechanical pencils. Mechanical pencils have been my writing utensil of choice ever since high school. Usually papermate mechanical pencils are not too sturdy, but these are a different story. Each pencil glides smoothly on paper and is very comfortable to write with as well. The grip is very helpful and the eraser is the perfect size. The only issue I have with this pencil is that once the eraser becomes too small, it becomes extremely hard to remove them from the pencil in order to put a new one. These pencils are well made and have lasted me over a year now! Definitely recommended.

If you're in class taking a test and you're like, "Damn my fingers hurt," then you should buy these pencils. The grip is super squishy (is it made of silicone?). I was using those cheap mechanical pencils and applying too much pressure on my pencil as I sat stressed and overthinking questions on my test that it would leave an imprint on my finger. I got these and my life has never been the same. I do better on tests and I bubble within the lines. I think they give you super powers. You probably could use some super powers. I suggest getting these. Also, go with your initial intuition when taking a test and don't go back and change your answers or it'll just be like using those sh*t pencils you were using in the beginning.

These mechanical pencils are the first ones that I have used that actually last long enough for me to lose them. I have broken the tip off a couple, but these mechanical pencils last me for months of heavy daily use for the most part. They feel great in the hand and hand fatigue is minimal after writing for several hours daily. The Ultra 0.7mm model also seems good. However, I can't say enough good things about the Paper Mate Comfortmate Ultra 0.5mm product, which I have used much more than the Ultra 0.7mm model.

The pencil works well..but the lead that comes with it is very cheap and breaks with the slightest bit of pressure. I have completely replace with other lead of the same size and that seems to have improved the pencils quality. I will say the grips on the pencil are very comfortable and are an improvement over the cheap plastic mechanical pencils I usually buy.

Only wish the pencils were heavier in the hand, as the original Paper Mate pencils were. I like the lead-advancing mechanism very much. The retractable tip is very solid and and it is tapered, not fragile and skinny, as I've seen on many competing other pencils costing much more.

Due to old injuries, I have issues with my hands and arms getting terribly fatigued when I write for more than a few minutes at a time; these pencils are a nice shape that are easy for me to keep a decent grip on, and light enough that so far, I haven't had my usual arm ache/shoulder swelling from writing.

Great pencils. Perfect for my work as I need to be able to draw/write in small spaces.

Comfortable and easy to use but the lead is extremely breakable and the erasers are god awful to take out, especially when they are down to the brim. The eraser flakes and breaks apart instead of pulling out. easily

Good mechanical pencils. Worth the money

But I am, and I keep buying them, or at least I did.This is the best I have found. This and the 0.7mm version. I don't need to look any more.If someone asked me which to buy, it would be this.Highly recommended above all other mechanical pencils I have found and bought.

My only dislike is that the lead is constantly breaking! I have 0.5 lead currently in the pencil and will when I go shopping again get 0.7 to see if that is better for me to use. Pencil is easy to fill and love the rubber too! Overall rating is 4.8/5
