I would consider this to be a shirt to wear "under" outer wear for cool and cold weathee.. It does have some wicking capabilities. It does offer some wicking capabilities but is not nearly as good as Under Armour. Also, these are made in China ..☹️ That being said, they do run a little tight but more importantly, are not long enough to even tuck in to a pair of jeans. So... If you have a short torso, these would be a great. .

Q: Is the material silky or rough? I am liking for a thin, soft shirt. I run indoors on a treadmill - looking for a light weight shirt.

Somewhere in between. I'd say not rough but not silky either. I find them quite comfortable riding bike to work.

Q: Are these cheaply made? I wonder about the quality, texture, and warmth at this price.

They are not cheaply made, I have been using them since last July/August and they wash well. I live in the Caribbean, so warmth is not a big thing for me, but, to answer your question, it doesn’t keep me warm.
