Aoshima 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Hiryu 1942 Midway

The model is simple to put together and looks good painted. The finished model appears to be quite near to the cover, as seen in the photo.

I thought, besides not having an underwater hull, that overall it was a fantastic model

My husband is enjoying making this ship. Its just smaller then we thought was.

It arrived --all the way from Japan-- before the announced arrival date. The product was cocooned in layers of paper and bubble wrap and was pristine. The assembly directions are clear and easy to follow, At this scale painting and assembly will be tricky, but fun. I am looking forward to the finished model,

自分はプラモデル初心者なんですが、パーツの小ささに驚きました。最初は作れるかなーとか思ってましたけど慣れるとまじでスムーズに進みます。ちなみに塗装とかはやらなかったです。まぁ自分的には大満足です。暇つぶしにちょうど良いですね！作るのに2時間半くらいかかりました！

パーツ点数もそこまで多くなく、組み立てるだけなら比較的簡単に出来ると思います。今回はデカール類を全く使わず全て塗装したので、マスキング→塗装→乾燥の繰り返しで随分時間はかかりましたが...
