Quality control issue?
The axe overall seemed very high quality. The handle seemed a little over large around the bit but my main concern which led to return can be seen n the attached photos. I expected some variation in surface texture as the axe head is hand worked, however I was unsure as the apparent curcular dunt concerned me. Disappointing at the price point for this item.

Brilliant Splitting Axe
Brilliant axe been used for a while now and has shown no major problems, Only issue has been some glinting on the axe relatively early on, maybe to do with tempering process or the material used.

Stunning Axe
This is such a nice axe. Excellent quality, made with a care and attention to detail one might not expect at this price point. Sod other brands, this is what you want. Perfect for carpenters, lumberjacks, serial killers, woodsmen, axe murderers, survivalists etc.No need to go Swedish. Go German for an excellent chop.
