I have a car that was having what I thought was battery issues, so I decided to pick this thing up to verify the problem. It was easy to hook up and easy to read. I ran the test and found that the battery is actually good, its the charging system that is not doing it's job. I'm glad I didn't just waste the $$ on a new battery first! I decided to try it on a riding mower battery just to see if it would work on those as well, and it reads it fine and that battery tested fine. Cool tool, and one that I will have for years.

Just a week ago I was over at my buddy's auto shop and I asked him if he had a battery tester. I tried his compact battery tester he has and the battery life is at 66% not bad for four year old battery. The one he has does not do a charging system test or a start test.The reason I purchased the KZYEE battery tester is that it does all three tests, battery load, charging system and start test. The battery test almost matched the percentage his showed by 2%.The directions are easy to follow, just don't get in a hurry reading them. The menu is easy to use and setting adjustments are easy to make.

First unit came in defective. Exchange was quick and easy. Four stars because of defective first unit.

The first auto battery I attempted to test with this tester caused me to think it was broken or damaged. The tester viewed some strange and unreasonable readings. 8856 cca's for a 600 cca battery 5 years old and dead. It was a sidepost battery out of the vehicle and I finally realized I might not be getting the best of connections. I screwed a couple of new and clean 3/8" x 16 bolts in the battery and got a good connection. The tester then worked as it was supposed to. The battery then tested 92 cca's, 2% and 11.94 volts. A regular voltmeter matched the 11.94 volts. This is a good tool to have. Just make sure you get a really good connection. But that's just common sense. This tester will let you determine if your batteries are good or bad.

I bought this product to avoid having to take batteries into a dealer 20 miles away when they don’t seem to hold a charge on my farm, with both 12 and 24 volt systems and batteries ranging in size from small engine mowers to 35 ton diesel loaders. This tester stacks very well with the results of serious professional equipment.

When I received my KS21 I tested it on two one year old batteries. On both batteries it showed CCA substantially higher than the battery label. I was concerned that the unit was not working accurately. I contacted the seller who responded in less than 24 hours. He explained that the unit was working normally and that often on a good battery meters will read more CCA than the label. Batteries are labeled CCA at 0 degrees Fahrenheit and obviously I wasn't anywhere near that temperature as I live in a warm climate. Seller stated that every meter is tested before leaving factory. Found other people on line with different manufacturer's meter with the same experience and question as me so it makes sense. Customer support is very important to me and seller gave it.

I used it on two motorcycle batteries.I knew that one was dead. And this unit send to replace. It said that the other battery was 90% and it did start the bike. So think that it worked well.

This little thing may be inexpensive, but it does the job great. I’m glad I had it to test a new battery that didn’t seem to be working. It turned out the the new battery I bought was defective.

Works good. I have had a few different models of these testers. Seems good. I test batteries frequently with it. The only thing is it doesn't have a memory of the last battery tested. Meaning I have to adjust the CCA each time I connect. Not a big deal just a difference between this one and others I've had. I'll let you know when it dies. So far happy with it.
