Buy the part, don't replace the polisher
I was sure glad to find this part on Amazon. I hadn't used my orbital polisher for a while, and I left the old bonnet on it and put it in the case for storage. Low and behold, a couple years later, I went to use it and the rubber substrate, that is used to make this piece, had completely deteriorated into a gooey mess, almost like a firm, but very sticky and moist brownie. It was a mess. I was ready to throw the whole polisher away when I searched for just this part, and found it on Amazon. I installed it and everything lined up perfectly, piece of cake, and the orbital is still in business. highly recommend it.
