This is an incredibly bright headlamp that feels sturdy. The various light modes give you flexibility in how you want to light your way! The “key” main lights have good range with a tighter beam, while the auxiliary are more of a wide, low range beam. Of course the lamp itself rotates 90-degrees.In addition to functioning well, it was important to me that it have a long lasting and rechargeable battery, as the batteries (AAA) in my other headlamps seem to go weak fairly quickly.I have worn it a couple of times for more than an hour each and found it was not invasive. I still noticed it was there and occasionally reached up to adjust it for comfort. But it was not uncomfortable.The batteries (18650 rechargeable lithium-ion 1500 mAh 3.7V) came separately packaged. I placed the batteries in and the headlamp worked right away, so they come charged. I did charge them until they were fully charged before use.I have not tested how long the batteries last. Someone else said 3-10 hours depending on the brightness used. For a long work, cave, field, or camping session, I would buy more batteries and bring them fully charged. You can get 2200+ mAh batteries and have a longer run per battery.When charging in the headlamp, the charge level is indicated by either a red light for not fully charged or a green light for fully charged. (see pictures)The straps are adjustable for the headlamp. However, if your head is more than 23 inches around it may not be able to adjust to accommodateThe back of the strap assembly has padding that sits on the back of your head. The front sits on your forehead using the straps passing behind the lamp as the padding.The modes of the lamp are just the way they are described and shown in the image on the Amazon page. If you click the power button on top of the headlamp you get: highbeam, further clicking the power button you get a low beam, followed by all bright beams, followed by all bright beams blinking. If you hold the power button for a few seconds then you get the secondary lighting (Auxiliary) modes and you can click through highbeam, low beam, red, and red blinking.Additionally, the back-facing battery compartment has its own button with a dim red light that cycles from off to on to flashing, then off again.This headlamp is much brighter than other headlamps I have used, for instance, compared to my Gellert headlamp from the UK (which requires three AAA batteries).It says it is waterproof and the battery compartment does have a gasket, and closes tightly.I am happy with my purchase and recommend the headlamp. I would buy it again as well as purchase as a gift.

This strap is small for an adult-sized product and caused my head to hurt soon after trying it on. I have a small head and typically wear children’s hats, so this was surprising. The battery pack in the back wasn’t very heavy and actually helped to hold the whole thing on my head. I love the solid or blinking red light feature on the battery pack. It helps the user remain visible to others in the dark. The light is super bright and has multiple stettings including strobe. Overall, I have purchased about three headlamps and this is the only rechargeable one I have. I understand that some of the bulk is unavoidable due to the nature of the product. I think the price is more than fair.

This is an outstanding little headlamp with great light adjustments. The brightest is very, very bright and focused for many different purposes and jobs. The rechargeable battery is a special bonus. And the fit is adjustable for all sizes. A definite 5+ stars, and the seller is outstanding as well with immediate shipping! Very highly recommended!!!

I own 5x of these types of head lights (of various types, but 3x of the green strap single light, most common one). So i do have a good point of comparison , and figured i would try a different version this time. This one is frankly horrible. I'm not a big guy (not tall, nor a large head), but both the straps on this led headlamp are SOOO short, its about unusable. Also, clearly the mfg knows of this problem, as it comes out of the box, with the straps maxed out (which isnt any good, as they are too short).Sad, as the lamp on the front is pretty decent (as compared to the other headlights i have). going to return it for the one i normally get. i really WONDER how this led has so many 4/5* reviews, i WONDER how that is possible for such a poor , almost defective, product. (*HOW* could that be?? )

Wow, these things are super bright. I was surprised at the size of the two batteries included, some may find it bulky for a headset. I do like the fact that the light is on a swivel and can adjust brightness if working with something close up so that it is not so bright. You can't beat the amount of battery power included with this, which is more than most cell phones. I can't comment on how long it lasts, but has worked great for the last few days. I would recommend this item and will update the review if anything changes.

This thing is fantastic. My biggest issues with headlamps have always been that they don’t stay on my head and that they aren’t bright enough. I fish mostly at night and rely on my headlamp to see the shore line and docks. This thing is ridiculously bright. It has 8 possible settings so you are going to get the light you want in any situation. I don’t get the comments about small size. It almost caused me not to order. I have an above average size melon and these fit great. They are snug but that’s what I want. The material is stretchy so it keeps it firmly in place. I can’t speak to battery life but I bought extras to keep on the boat so even at the lowest estimated life I can use the lamp all night so I am not worried about that. The battery case is a bit large and took some getting used to but it’s already a normal feeling. It’s definitely not uncomfortable. Highly recommend.

Exceeded my expectations. The batteries look like AAs on steriods. Very VERY bright. There are 3 different brightness settings, 4 lights total. 2 are not as bright, 2 are really bright, then you can combine all 4 for the brightest setting. It also has a flashing mode. This thing is really amazing!

I really like this headlamp. I use them all the time around the house since I don't have a lot of street lights where I live and my driveway is long. This one works great, comes with the batteries which is always nice, is rechargeable and the light on it is bright. There are different settings for solid or blinking lights. The only thing I will say is that there is a power button on the battery case and a power button on the actual lights. Great product, strongly recommend.
