Athalon Everything Boot Bag/Backpack

Excellent boot bag. Bought for my daughter. Fits boots, helmet, snow gear, food, water bottles easily. Extra pockets for small things like lip balm, wallet, phone. No need for extra bags. This bag does it all. Backpack feature is my favorite. Keeps hands free to carry your board or skis. Loved so much bought one for myself. Highly recommend!

I bought this in July 2020 for a bargain price... Really like the way it's set up with boots accessible on either side. My girlfriend has a Dakine Boot locker & I prefer the Athalon design because you can get your boots out when the bag is in the car, without having to move the bag around.Fast forward to March 2025: after nearly 5 years of solid use skiing ~25 days a season, the handle broke. I was about to replace it with an identical Athalon bag but noticed the listing advertises a 5 year warranty! I emailed Athalon & got a prompt warranty approval and will be getting a new bag soon for free!

I absolutely love this bag. It holds everything I need for skiing locally or for traveling, which entails duplicates of some items. It's well laid out and the zippers work smoothly and in two directions. The shoulder straps are comfortable for the unexpected long walk from back of parking lot to lodge.I bought my bag two years ago. A few weeks ago I was dismayed to discover a small tear in the fabric on the lower corner where the shoulder straps attach. I contacted Athalon, hoping to get a reimbursement or something for a stitch & fix to be done locally. Instead they sent me a brand new bag, even the same style as the one I have and love.Happy, happy, happy.

The media could not be loaded. This thing feels quality, like it will hold up on the plane! I have yet to try that yet, but will adjust my review if it does not live up to airline standards. I could not find a single bag on Amazon that was designated for two pairs of boots so I sat on on just trying to find a good quality single boot backpack for flying, and into my surprise it fits both of our boots!! My husbands are a size 12 and fit in the outer boot pocket. You could probably do a size higher than that but not much bigger and it’s a squeeze for outer pockets. My size 6 boots fit on the inside with room for goggles, gloves and neck gaiters. You could easily fit one set of boots plus all of your ski gear including helmet and clothes in this if you used with single pair of boots. Looking forward to flying with this bag soon!

Bought several of these over the years between family and myself. My personal version I have had for a little over 2 years. The zipper began to become separated where zipper fabric and compartment fabric meets on one of the sides of the boot compartments. Athalon's warranty contact easy to find (Google it) and they responded quickly and honored their 5 year warranty, getting me resolution much quicker than expected. Very impressed!I am not concerned about quality, as my brother has had his Athalon ski bag for 5+ years and it is still going strong, so can only figure that my issue was a fluke

Early indicators show this could be a legit 5+ year boot bag. The 10mm zippers are king. Hearty material, drainage holes in the boot sleeves/compartments, plenty of room for a helmet, goggles w/ case, snow pants, gloves, socks +.Two years ago I bought an Extremus (65L) Snow Bound Ski Boot Bag for one of my kids who at the time was a 6th grader. Yes it was too big but that really wasn't the issue. The wealth of pockets were enticing but turned out to be a nuisance but the biggest issue were the zippers. They zippers were garbage (3mm), the material was thin and we found the boot garage to be a terrible design.Athalon has been around for over 50 years. If you're going to roll the dice on what appears to be a top-rated "boot bag" consider brands with longevity before defaulting to what appears to be a "great deal" with "excellent reviews."

Great bag. I’ve had it a year and it fits tons of gear. Boots, helmet, extra clothes, gloves, ski pants , and even my lunch bag. Solid material .

Nice bag and drainage holes in the bottom. Holds a lot of gear!
