Wonderful cheese fondue
We love this cheese fondue. It’s easy to make-simply warm it up in the fondue pot. The cheese quality is wonderful and the texture is thick and cheesy. This is our go-to cheese fondue meal when we get together!

The best!
The taste and aroma of a Swiss fondue. Those who complained of smell have obviously not tried the real thing before, just the melting pot garbage! Brings back memories of a restaurant we went to at the foot of the Argentine Mountains in Switzerland. The kirsch and wine blended into the cheese makes it even more tasty! The texture was creamy and all that's needed is a crusty loaf of bread!

Has alcohol in it
It comes out lumpy and grainy with some liquid when you first open it. It takes quite a while to heat it up even with a double boiler. Once’s it’s all heating up it still tastes like alcohol so even though in theory alcohol burns off in food this is something to be mindful about with children. The texture eventually becomes smooth but it takes an awfully long time. It’s easy to use in the sense that you don’t need to add anything to it and just need to heat it. The texture is nice and creamy, smooth but the taste is good but potent after taste of beer.

DISGUSTING!
My craving for fondue caused me to buy Swiss Knight fondue, instead of my usual Emmi Fondue brand, bc Swiss Knight would arrive sooner. Such a mistake! When I opened the Swiss Knight package, it smelled like that nasty athletes feet smell🤢😖 The smell got exponentially worse once the fondue cheese started heating up in the fondue pot🤮 I'm pretty sure it's from the type of kirsch brandy in Swiss Knight, bc Emmi fondue has the exact same ingredients on the label but Emmi does not smell like nasty feet. (Whole Foods sells Emmi fondue and I had a couple boxes delivered; no awful smell.)The nasty smell reduced once the SK fondue fully heated through and melted, which further makes me think it was the kirsch; the smell didn't go away, but definitely reduced. Unfortunately, even after washing my fondue pot twice and cooking a package of Emmi fondue in it, that nasty smell from the SK brand still lingers in my Oster electric fondue pot, as if it's cooked into the nonstick ceramic coating.I wasted money buying 2 boxes of SK fondue. I'm throwing out the second box. I can't recommend Swiss Knight fondue.

Good fondue
Talk about easy. The taste is really good too. Of course making your own is always better, but this is quite good and instant as well, no muss, no fuss.

Delicious easy fun family dinner!
When my kids were young this was always an easy and fun go to for dinner; especially when they had friends over! I found this on Amazon and it was so excited after all these years that I bought a few. When my daughter and her boyfriend came to visit for the weekend I decided to have a fondue night. They loved it and it was so easy! Just put it in the fondue pot and heat. It's so good! You can definitely taste the wine and other various flavors. You can even add your own favorite flavors to personalize it to your taste. We love cutting up bread squares, apples, veggies and pretzel bites. It was SoOOoOoo good and such a fun meal. We're definitely going to start doing this more often!

Stinky Cheese?
First off to be fair, I had never had cheese fondue before I tried this. The husband and I spent the night away at a hotel and I made up this super cute fondue platter with a fondue warmer. From the moment we warmed up the cheese, we thought it smelled terrible! We thought maybe it just smells weird but tastes good, right? Not! It was the stinkiest cheese and tasted just like it smelled. I think it must have been the liquor in the cheese that I was not agreeing with. The husband didn't care for it either, although he kept going back for more and then saying it's bad LOL. (I think he just really enjoyed using the cute little forks and dipping things in cheese)Thankfully we brought a candle to get rid of the stinky cheese smell, we bagged up the cheese and tied the bag tight in hopes that the stinky cheese smell wouldn't come back out into our hotel room (which it did not)Overall, we would NOT try this again lol, but we had some good laughs with it and great memories. I'd still encourage others to try this if you're interested. Like I said, we'd never had fondue prior to this and it's highly possible we just don't care for it.
