I have always been an OPI fan as I found the quality to be very good however I am no longer using my OPI polish and have switched to the ESSIE brand for the quality of the brushes and the consistency of the polish. This is good stuff for a home manicure, it looks great and most importantly it goes on well and consistently. ESSIE is definitely my new go to brand!

I bought this nail polish because I realized that all of my nail polish colors are either dark (near- or actually black) or very bright, and I needed some options that were something different. I was hoping for something that was neutral enough to not stand out, but different enough that it would still be at least somewhat noticeable. This ended up fitting that bill very well. It's exactly how it's described - a pink color with just a touch of mauve that looks great as a neutral nail polish for those that still want a hint of color.What I like about it:- True to color description, and exactly what I was looking for- Went on smoothly, and two coats was enough for even, opaque coverage- Dried quickly, which was a pleasant surpriseWhat I don't like:- The polish is a little thin, making it very easy to accidentally put too much on- It chipped faster than I was hoping. It lasted about two days before the chipping started on my pointer and middle fingers, and after four days it was almost completely gone from those fingers (the other fingers lasted longer, which was good, but I was hoping this would last longer than my typical $1-2 polishes, which was disappointing)Other than that, I think this is a great nail polish and color, and the good certainly outweighs the bad in my opinion

I love Essie nail polish. Always goes on so smooth with the perfect brush and formula that my right hand doesn’t look like it was done by my left hand! LolThis color Lady Like is also now one of my favorite! 1 good coat and it looks like a beautiful pink mauve. 2 good coats and it has a more of a darker mauveish (with a hint of purple?) as attached pic.Honestly the pics I attached doesn’t do justice to the color. Looks so much better in person. Great natural color for everyday wear and according to the pics attached by everyone else...it looks great on all skin color. This color is universal - love it!*** UPDATE ***This time I did 1 good coat and the color was perfect...not the purplish hue when doing 2 coats. I attached 2 pics with 1 coat (no writing on the pics). One is indoor and the other outdoor. Love it!

Ladylike was the first polish I ever tried from Essie. And it is now my favorite polish, brand, and color in my nearly 70 polish collection. I find it to be very close to my skintone (ivory) with just a hint more brown. It is very classic and easy to wear during any season. I love to pair it with Essie' set in stone glitter polish on the tips to dress it up for a special occasion.

The color and the finish are just what I wanted.

looks more like a nude tan than mauve, no pinkish at all.
