Wallflower

A new Diana Krall we see in this CD. I had this album in my cart for a long time . Later I realised I should have bought it at the earliest. Good selection of songs and she manages to infuse her classic seductive silkiness into each song. A must buy.

Once again Diana Krall has worked her magic and delivered a commendable array of well-known tracks over three of music’s most important decades, Wallflower is a modern jazz treasure of gold classics; the melodies are reminiscent of the original tracks which is enlightening, and it’s the instrumentation of these covers that win you over.Somehow my vinyl was not send and MplusL Germany quickly fixed it and had it delivered to me.

Some excellent interpretations of popular songs by Diana Krall. One of her best CDs.

The instrument arrangement wasn’t really mixed well with her lucrative voice. End result was a bit disappointed.

デビュー当時からのファンです。　今回のはＣＯＶＥＲ曲ですが、どれもＢＧ曲としてリラックスして聞くのによいと感じました。　ハスキーな声で音を少し絞り気味でも録音が高いのでいい音がします。　今後の活躍にも期待したい。

Diana Krall is a class act. I had the pleasure of seeing her live around 2002 and she gave a spine tingling peformance. Her intimate rendition of Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You" reduced me to tears. I'm a big fan. This album follows the well trodden path- subtle understated performances, those whispered vocals that enrapture. A first class selection of songs. Terrific performances from all involved and excellent sound quality. The guest vocalists are fine but not essential. If you're a fan then you know what to expect. Class!
