Comfort and Durability. What more can you ask for?
I have practiced martial arts, kickboxing and MMA for a combined 25+ years. I currently practice almost everyday of the week, often twice a day. I have owned gloves from ALL of the best brands recommended in the MMA community, with exception to Rival...until now. These Rival Elite Bag Gloves are among, if not THE most comfortable bag gloves I have ever worn. The fit is fantastic and true to size and the durability is great! Although I have only had them a couple of weeks, I have put them to the test on bags, grappling dummies, and sparring partners. They show no signs of future damage and they feel as comfortable as they did the first day.I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a solid product. If you haven't bought gloves before, or are just getting into the sport (boxing or MMA), the extra money these cost compared to many alternatives, is WELL worth your investment.I bought these after several of my friends and partners recommended them and then I read some comments in an MMA magazine from Stephan Bonnar and he has used his for the last 2 years and says they are still holding up strong and are his favorite. I'm not a big Bonnar fan, but I know how he trains and if they are lasting 2 years and still strong, these are a gem!Enjoy them and train hard.J

rival elite bag glove
Great gloves gives perfect protection, I would highly recommend this glove for beginners and amateurs. Easy to strap on and doesn't move around when I adjust them correctly. You won't regret buying these gloves.I've had then for about 8 months now and I hit the bag for 1hr 7X a week. They give great protection for the fist and hands. You can deliver powerful blows. I have the red 12 oz glove and I just recently purchased the intelli shock D30 bag gloves can'twait to get them. RIVAL SPONSER ME?! Won't you come my way. RIVAL equipments are great. Great gloves compared to my hayabusa tokushu gloves which retail at $119.

Great Gloves
Although new to the world of MMA boxing, I asked my trainer for advise on a pair of bag gloves and he recommended Rival. I could of went with cheaper gloves but the quality of these Rival gloves is awesome. Besides, the cheap solution most of the times turns out to be the most expensive solution.

great bag gloves
awesome cushion and protection for your hands....especially if you're a heavy hitter like me. i hit the heavy bag probably about 4 hours a week. this was an upgrade from an old pair of cheaper everlasts. I can't believe I didn't get another pair sooner! the wrist support doesn't really add much for me. I wrap with 180" mexican wraps and don't have any wrist issues. I did have knukle issues prior to these gloves. the velcro straps were a bit annoying for the first couple of weeks, but once you figure out how to do it . . . its quick and easy. I find its easier to do my right hand first (i'm right handed) and then i use my mouth for the left hand. Definitely not for the germaphobe!I absolutely love these and when they fall apart, i'll probabably get another pair!

Will be getting an exchange.
Update: It's about two months using these replacement gloves and their holding up well. I still don't like their dual strap which are too difficult to put on and take off. I really don't feel any extra support for the wrist compare to the other gloves with single straps. Five stars for Title Company for sending me a replacement.Positive for Title who will be sending me another pair once I get a return label from them. Not so positive for Rival quality at this moment, the right hand stitching near the finger tips opened up after one training session. Difficult to put on the 2nd glove velcro on once you have the first glove on. I will update this post after I try out the new replacement.

Good for the price
These work very well, they linings do not absorb odor and thats a huge benefit if you train regularly. The one draw back is that they are hard to put on once you have one hand already in one because of the dual velcro and a little tough to take off by yourself too, you have to use your teeth or ask for assistance from another set of hands. But function wise they are great and the quality seems to be very good so far.

Could find theses bad boys at a flea market
Made with very poor materials for how much they cost, and returned them as soon as they came. Ringside has been my glove of choice and they cost way less.

Like a super model...
Rivals are the super models of boxing gloves. They're gorgeous and unique in design, but ultimately unsubstantial and average under the skin.I was lured into buying these "Elite Bag gloves" because of their looks and the gimmicks--ergo strap anyone? From the get-go, the gloves were okay. The padding wasn't anything great, the fit was so-so, and the ergo-strap was mildly irritating. But, I assured myself, I would grow to love them. Fast-forward six months later and my Rival gloves are as flat as a pancake from a medium amount of weekly use. Gloves break down, I know, but my Fighting Sports Tri-techs are still going strong almost a year later. My point is, good gloves last, bad gloves (and average ones) don't. The love affair is over Rival. Looks aren't everything. I hope you learn that someday.
