Creative Haven Arabic Patterns Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: World & Travel) Paperback – Coloring Book, August 21, 2013

I used this product for coloring in for fun as an adult. I like that most of the patterns can be colored with two colors without the same color touching itself except for on corners. It is pretty similar to Arabesque Designs coloring book from Creative Haven. If you were wondering if buying and using this coloring book will turn you into a Muslim, the answer is no, it will not. I was a little worried about that at first, but I'm feeling better about it now. It's just nice designs. I like this book. I think it is overall a little less detailed than Arabesque Designs. It is fun to use.

Great book if you like to color patterns.

Loved the Lotus and Alhambra books but this one beats them both. These 31 designs are based on late-nineteenth century renderings of the French art historian, J Bourgoin. The options for colouring each design - selecting which parts to highlight - take some planning and produce quite different results. There's a lot more room for creativity with this book than with many other books. As usual with Creative Haven, the pages are single-sided and perforated.

Lots of enjoyable patterns, on good quality paper. These designs are on only one side of the page, which is the only practical way for colored markers. Watch out for other books that have pictures on both sides of the page.

Most patterns are not really Arabic inspired. Some are just lame. There were a few really good ones in here.
