The internal cellular format means that it is surprisingly cool, and the textured surface of the covering material means that it stays in place on the seat. I'm using it on a computer chair on which I spend an unhealthily long period every day, and I'm sure it's going to make life more comfortable.

These are very good, I've bought two-- one for work, one for home. The structure feels sturdy and supportive yet still flimsy and comfortable. It's quite impressive! Only issue I would say is whilst it does help you stay on your chair (if you're a sloucher and tend to slide off), it tends to slide off itself, and I find myself readjusting it every now and then. I sit down a lot and tend to move around so it might just be that.

I have sciatica pain and thought I’d try this to relieve the pain while sitting.It’s not uncomfortable but I’ve not found that it helps much either.It feels cool to sit on even in the warm weather which may help some people.It’s also not huge. Fine for me at a size 10 but I’d say if your bum is on the larger side that you may find this isn’t wide enough.

My mum is disabled and spends most of the day sat in her chair, we have tried many different cushions which are either uncomfortable or make your bum sweaty. I saw this one and though well its not expensive so give it a try, mum has loved it from the first time she sat on it, her bum no longer gets numb and painful, no longer gets too warm. It has a removable zipped cover so you can wash it. Mum says its the best pain relief she has had in years after the tablets and would recommend this gel pad to anyone who spends long periods of time sat down.

This is the only negative review I've ever written, but this cushion was absolutely useless for my back ache. I might have been expecting too much, but can honestly say that I actually felt better when I threw it away. I'd been meaning to buy one for months having seen them advertised on tv. Potential buyers might have better luck - maybe it just didn't work for me.

Thin - less than 3cm - but for me does a better job than a foam cushion 3x thicker. One star subtracted, however, for the number of times I have needed to pick it up off the floor, which is many - the tiny silicone bobbles on the underside of the cover don't do a very good job of holding the cushion in place.

It's meant to help cool and relieve pressure on your spine but it doesn't. My ass gets even hotter since using it, it's as if it's trapping the air and heating. And people are commenting it is as if they were sitting on pockets of air! Rubbish, the only air i'm sitting on is the hot one coming from my ass! Doesn't make it more comfortable at all, and it is WAY THINNER THAN IN THE PICTURE. I would request a refund but the box got taken from my office on recycling day so ah well.

Purchased to replace an older solid gel seat pad, what a difference between the two. The design of this one is far superior, light to transport and very comfortable to use as you are literally sitting on pockets of air. I ordered 2 and they have poved to be so good I am now getting another.
