CBE Torx Stabilizer Kit

If you're only ever shooting in the 20yrd range then these might be a bit overkill. Technical flaws won't show up as bad when you're in that close. If you like to stretch things out a bit 50+yds, then these should help most people. The slightest bit of grip torque can make for a huge miss when you're shooting at longer distances where it might only be a miss by a couple inches up close. I was having issues keeping a tight group at 60yds and beyond. Bolted these on and actually noticed an instant improvement. My hold is steadier, any bad shot from grip torque I had has been minimized, and the side bar has made it much easier to stay consistent in keeping the bow level. They're also the perfect size for hunting. The front stabilizer doesn't stick out any further than a nocked arrow, and the side bar is barely noticeable. So toss those useless 4 & 6" stabilizers and get something that actually helps with more than just sound dampening.

Seems like a quality product. My main complaint is it's advertised with Doinker A-Bombs. Mine did not come with them. Just generic rubber bushings. Part of the reason I bought it was because of the value included by having them.

Just received the stabilizer kit today and arrived in great shape. Took about 15-30 min to balance my Hoyt Hyperforce.The picture in one of the previous reviews is what I received as well. I looked up the stabilizer on the CBE website and it appears for 2019 they are no longer using the Doinker A bomb on the stabilizer. The updated rubber appears very well made and still moves like the Doinker system. If you have to have the Doinker, you can remove their rubber and install one.The carbon fiber tube has sound dampening material inside it and should provide extra noise cancelling qualities.Make sure when setting up your bow to loosely tighten the bolts until you find your setup. Also you may want to purchase the extra weights if you don’t have any. For me I have 5oz on the front angled slightly to the right with the 10 degree quick disconnect and 1 oz in the rear.Looking forward to shooting and will post a follow up review.The description on Amazon is not up to date

This is a grate very adjustable setup. The shock pods are different than in the picture (see photos). I personally like the ones that come better. They are leaker and more stream line. The only problem that I had was the additional weight I ordered to go with them. It is a good hunting set up. A nice balance between the stability you get from longer target stabilizers that are hard to pack and shorter hunting stabilizers that don’t provide any stability.

I would give this a 5 star because the product definitely does what it meant to be used for but it’s only getting 3 stars from me because it’s falsely advertised. This product doesn’t come with Dinker A-bomb, and they probably charged you for that too.

Picked this set up for my Mathews V3 31, provided a perfect balance for the bow. The rear connector is kind of cheap, but does the job. Just not made to be highly adjustable. Get it right the first time and you won't have to worry about it. Stabs seem to be of very good quality. For those whining about the Doinkers, they don't come with them any more. Get over it. The dampeners that come on them now are more than adequate and work very well, and look better than the Doinkers in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I have ordered these twice and both times the package was opened and it looks like someone replaced their old pre A Bomb versions with the new A Bomb dampener version. Love the stabilizer, however only issue is that after you lock it down and then try to loosen it to readjust it’s really tough to break loose even after loosening the lock nut.

I seem to be in the minority but was not impressed with these stabs. The quality was ok but not as good as some other stabs out there. They did little to stabilize my bow. Picked up some Wickstick stabs in same length and they worked noticeably better for me. The Torx bow mount was also not to my liking and felt cheap compared to others I have used in the past.

so as stated before it doesn’t come with the a-bombs. For me that wasn’t a big deal but if you’re expecting them than you’ll be disappointed. The quick disconnect and v-bar mount seem well machined and fit nice and snug. 2oz of weights doesnt seem to be enough especially if you run a quiver while hunting. The length of the stabs I feel is perfect. Not too long and still get the job done. Really clean looking unit and had set up in about 2-3 minutes.

This is a great products for anyone wanting to improve their archery skills and stability immediately.Rule of thumb for the starting point: You will typically want to run a 3:1 ratio on the back/side bar.The kit comes with 4oz of weights (2 in the front and 2 in the back). Move 1 oz the the back/side.You may need to buy additional weights to fine tune the balance (I had to)
