Mechanix WearFastFit Covert Tactical Gloves (Large, Black)

I really like my gloves.Let's be clear about one matter first off: these are not "work gloves". They are a light, snug-fitting glove designed to give you better grip plus some light protection from scratches, etc. They aren't a heavy glove, and they aren't intended to do the job of a heavy job!I use mine for target shooting w/ rifles or handguns.They have enough grip, but they aren't "overly grippy", if you know what I mean...you can slide the glove's finger or palm surface along a metal (or wood, plastic, etc) surface, such as that of a firearm, when you need to, yet w/ a little pressure applied, the glove surface will grip tightly.One simple but awesome feature is the small loops hewn into the opening of each glove, made to assist in the quick pulling on of your gloves. The loops are large enough to allow one already gloved hand to insert a gloved finger into the loop to aid the donning of the second glove, yet, aren't so large that they end up getting "in the way".Bottom line: I'd buy them again (and again) w/o a second thought. Very nice. Actually, I'm the kind of guy that needs a spare for everything he likes..."just in case..."Get ya some.

Mechanix has finally gotten this right. My biggest issue with their normal gloves was the placement of the velcro closure on the inside of the wrist where it's likely to get knocked loose. The FastFit solves that problem by getting rid of the velcro altogether.These have similar function to the normal Mechanix gloves but they're a little more lightweight. The old elastic cloth backing has been replaced by a neoprene style material but comfort is unaffected. The palm and fingers will be familiar to Mechanix users (a little stitching heavy at the fingertips) and most importantly, in several hours of use so far, I haven't felt like these gloves were going to come off. Additionally, the loop on the bottom makes it easy to pull them on as well as store them on a carabiner. I will very likely be buying more of these to replace all my old regular style Mechanix gloves.

Very nice for the price. Was looking for more of the insulated/leather version, but that's my bad. Gloves are true to size.Update....I just started using these gloves in October 2019 since it was starting to get cold. These things are absolute trash!!! I'm a parts manager and handle boxes most of my days. I've worn these for about 45 days and as you can see from the pictures, the fingers have already ripped out. These gloves are for VERY LIGHT DUTY such as; petting puppies, balloon tying and pillow stuffing. These gloves used to be good, but the last 2 pairs have been junk!!! I gave them another try with this pair and see where that got me?!? Wouldn't recommend to anyone!!!

I wear Mechanix Wear branded gloves nearly every day here on the farm. They offer comfortable protection for my hands in many different environments from caring for my horses, operating zero-turn mowers and wrenching on various vehicles and equipment. I did find that both these pairs run a bit smaller than all my other Mechanix Wear gloves of the same size, I'm hoping they will loosen up with wear.

I like the fact that you can work with small detail irems,there not bulky.The palms are smooth leather.I wouldnt go handle hard core items that might rip the soft leather palms.We use them for tow truck jobs and they work well you can use a pen.then you can handle chains and such..Dont expect these gloves to last forever because they wear fast on heavy duty jobs .When we know there going to get wet and nasty we just use some other bulky gloves.Save these for hooking up chains and ratchet straps.There like wearing those surgical gloves except alittle tougher.

Use these gloves for facilities maintenance yard work. Lasted all summer and are in good shape, but they are almost exclusively used for mowing and weed whacking. Not very heavy duty on the palms, but do protect the hands from blisters and flying debris and have very high dexterity. Got these specifically because the loose wrist doesn't leave a defined tan line like a closed Velcro wrist does.

I have bought a ton of these over the years. I keep coming back because they are so comfortable and easy to get on and off, but I don't get a ton of use out of them. The fingers wear out or split at the seems pretty frequently, but I still keep coming back.

I love Mechanix wear gloves, they just fit perfectly. I wear a large. My wife doesn't fit well in ladies sized gloves, so I bought her a set of Men's small and they fit her perfectly too. I like these fast fits the best because I normally don't need the velcro strap of the originals which are just harder to put on and take off, but I have both kind and both are great. Get some.

I was sceptical at paying this price. Considering everywhere else charges crazy prices however I'm very very pleased. I actually bought another pair of these gloves from another seller at double the price to compare them and the other ones were not as good quality. Tactical gloves never last forever however these are easy to replace and cheap.

Después de dos semanas de uso diario ya los tengo rotos por varios puntos y serán próximos a tirarlos.. son muy comodos, agradables, fáciles de poner y quitar, permiten cierto tacto y la talla en mi caso, mejor imposible. Van bien para trabajar pero su resistencia y precio me echan totalmente atras para comprar otros iguales. En mi caso los uso diariamente y frecuentemente, con piezas a veces en altas temperaturas, manipulación de diferentes componentes y herramientas de todo tipo, incluso a veces algo de fricción. La duración ha sido similar a otros guantes de gama media pero algo más de la mitad de baratos. Para uso doméstico, perfectos. Para según que entorno laboral, mal (por calidad / precio).

Anfangs war ich vom Tragegefühl sehr begeistert. Das Verwendete Material ist sehr angenehm, weich, rutschfest und man hat beim Arbeiten ein super Fingerspitzegefühl. Leider lösen sich jetzt an den Fingerspitzen überall die Nähte. Und das nach nur zwei Wochen leichter Arbeiten.Dass man für unter 20 Euro nicht viel erwarten kann, sollte jedem klar sein, aber dass die Handschuhe bereits nach nur zwei Wochen schon in die Mülltonne wandern können, ist sehr ärgerlich. Wie gesagt, sonderlich schwer gearbeitet habe ich damit nicht. Und ab und zu mal was heben, sollte kein Problem sein. Für kleine Arbeiten im und am Haus, für zwischendurch, bestimmt tauglich. Wahrscheinlich sind sie auch eher dafür gedacht und da kann man dann auch zugreifen. Aber für permanentes Tragen absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Fantastic gloves, however they do not fit like many other pairs of Mechanix gloves I have. Specifically the thumb we is much shallower. I usually wear a large, and due to the thumb web issue would be ATLEAST XL. Gave them to a buddy who wears medium Mechanix gloves and he said the web was tight for him too in the thumb web area.
