Not as good as it first appears :-(
Every time I have used one of these spools in my sewing machine, it jams and knots. I have checked my machine and used other brands the confirm that it must be the thread causing the problem. Sadly I now have 30 spools of thread that a virtually useless as I need them for my sewing machine. Will also need to buy more threads.

Good quality snagg free so far !
Package received promptly and well packaged, I wanted to do a few alterations and needed cotton other than white and black, there is a good choice of colours, a good quantity of cotton, yardage per roll, and of a good thickness, I have today hemmed a valance as it was too long and the thread didnt snag once, I am now taken up some curtains and expect the same. If there are any problems it's usually user error !Good value for money compared to others I looked at.

No start thread indication
I started using the thread but it took me almost 20mins to try and figure out where the thread starts. I ended up wasting almost half of the roll as I tried to figure out the beginning of the thread by cutting bits and pieces. I have given up using any of the ones still left.

Too thick for sewing machines
It wasn't expensive but it wasn't the cheapest either so I was hopeful it would be good enough. But I've had to buy a different brand. Several rolls just don't work, I think they've been wound wrong and they're all too thick for machines. I've got 2 machines, different brands and it's the same issue. Looking at price history the price was Covid 19 inflation, it used to be far cheaper.

Horses for courses
I was not sure that my sewing machine would like this thread as it it loosely spun. However it has worked well with thick cotton and a jeans needle. Very useful to be able to access different colours for small sewing jobs. It is a cheap alternative to the high priced threads. It’s not always necessary to use the top quality threads. Have now used three of the colours already.

Nice colours
Very good item for beginners large colour selection not the most durable thread but does the job for small projects. Great for on lightweight fabric struggles with heavier fabrics such as jersey and denim.
