The separated mustache from the beard is the star of this set! Much more realistic than the beards that cover the entire mouth.

I'm an American amateur Santa living in Japan. Been doing volunteer Santa work over the past 12 years. I take being Santa pretty seriously and want to create the most realistic experience I can afford. So, I've ordered custom costume parts from around the world as I try to improve a little each year.Have used the super cheap wig sets that come with the costumes and also bought a pro custom made (to my head) yak-hair wig. The cheap wigs get the job done when you style them but still don't have natural lines (running straight across the middle of the face) and look synthetic. The pro wig looks amazingly realistic, but requires it to be glued on and a little makeup to the cover the lace. Best applied by a pro.This wig is a very satisfying middle. The separate mustache enables the beard to have a more natural line. The material quality is good. It's not real hair, but it's not horribly fake either. The chin cup is good. I haven't figured out the best placement of the head straps yet, but that is something I expect with any beard. Just a matter of practice (honestly, most people probably wouldn't care or think about it). I used a double sided wig tape for the mustache which got the job done well. It can be glued on if you'd prefer. As with any fake non-lace beard, the transition between the skin and the beard is obvious, but the mustache covers part of it and an innovative person might trim a few strands of hair off the wig and then glue them onto the face to blend that transition in (after use, wash the glue off and keep the strands for the next time).Overall, I'm pretty happy with the product. It was a good middle ground between cheap/cheap looking/easy to put on and expensive/amazing look/extremely difficult to put on. I'm not making money from being a Santa so I don't really need to spend the time and money on a custom 700+ dollar wig (though as mentioned above, I did have one custom made, found it a hassle, and thus bought this one).I'd definitely encourage anyone wanting to be an amateur Santa to semi-pro to pay a few extra bucks for this one. It's worth it. Cheap wigs are for emergency use only and custom made are for money making pros only.FYI. The picture is my first attempt to wear it. So, I need to try it on a few more times to get the beard's placement on the chin and the mustache right. But for a first attempt, I'm quite happy.The company I bought this product from was (thankfully) quite professional, quick to respond to my messages, and shipped promptly. They knew I was on a tight deadline and got the product to me expeditiously. I felt the $100-$160 price range was appropriate for the product quality, appearance and service.

I was impressed with the packaging and quickness of delivery. The beard, wig, and mustache set are one of the finest I've seen. I appreciate the shape of the mustache as it will allow me to speak easily and is easy to apply with a little spirit gum.If you are looking to buy this type of product, you will NOT be disappointed. Im telling you , the quality of your Santa wig, beard and 'stach will make or break your authenticity of Santa. I decided to spend the money and go for this brand and it didnt disappoint. My husband played Santa for my photo sessions this year .. He is only 35 but you couldnt tell at all when using this brand! Thank you for keeping the magic alive in so many kids hearts :)

I don't like that you have to have the mustache separate on this and I was kind of hoping the harness system too old yet earnest system to hold the feared on would be adjustable so you could actually make it tight it's no different than the $50 ones I've bought in the past

By far the best Santa beard and mustache set yet!The mustache is separate from the beard. Looks much more natural. Very comfortable.

I was scared that I would not get to be santa anymore when my day job started requiring no facial hair.... i shaved off my white beard and purchased this one....It is perfect... you will need spirit gum...Buy extra mustaches
