Apparently between the resurgent success of My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop , even Disney couldn't avoid the amount of money little girls were dropping on animated talking animal toys. So after a quick trial with Clover on Sofia the First, soon every princess needed a princess pet. Which isn't to say they haven't always been there, just not in their glamorous new form: perfect for little girls to primp and oogle.This coloring/sticker book is one of the first Princess Pets pieces out by Disney, ahead of a major push this holiday. When I pulled it out of the box you'd have thought it was the Dad-of-the-Year award the way my girls squee'd and climbed on me to get it.Other than that it's Disney-branded and the hot-new-thing, there isn't anything particularly amazing about this activity book. Like comparable activity books, there are a few "normal sized" stickers and lots of little ones, the pages are normal coloring pages, and it's about the thickness you would expect from a jumbo coloring book.But do the girls love it? Oh yes.Am I the best Dad and Uncle in the universe for getting it? Oh yes.Would I recommend it for your little princess-loving tikes? Oh yes.
