This was delivered lightning fast. I have been using this for over a week now in preparation to respray a car bonnet and correct two panels on my car - and it's good! As an entry level polisher it does a good job that matches with more professional makes I have used in the past. I see alot of reviews berating it for where the button is on the side - that's an industry standard on all 3 inch polishers so don't let that put you off! It's well balanced, it doesn't stall ( that is usually caused by pushing down too hard) and is easy to use! The pads that come with it work well with the compounds I use ( I haven't tried the polish or rubbing compound that comes with it) and all the extra's it's packed with are great. Vibration is minimal and it leaves no marring! I have wet sanded using wet and dry and it has done an excellent job with no issues - it handled the job well! I am very happy with this budget machine that holds it head up with the big boys of paint correction and I will be ordering more SPTA polishers in the future!

I'm a novice detailer and used this item for the first time today. I found the weight of this polisher just right as you don't have to apply much pressure, and let it do the work. For me the low speeds worked best for better control especially near the edges. Plenty of kit and you don't have to worry about the power. I spent some time understanding the pads to use with Meguiar's compounds. So far it's worked brilliant ......

Was looking for a cheap DA polisher and found this. If I was designing this I would have the on/off switch mounted on the top of the unit rather than the side, I found the side switch slightly awkward to use. As this is the only DA polisher I have used, I have nothing to compare it against. I like it, and considering the limited use that I will put it to it is suitable. Would also add that DA polishers are very easy to use, I bought an old car bonnet to practice on and had some amazing finishes as I brought it up thru various polishing stages. Even buffs off indelible marker that I used to highlight imperfections on the bonnet. Result

Can't fault this polisher at all (so far). Really easy to use, comes with some useful extras such as the polish etc. Personally think the corded polishers are better than cordless ones, due to the batteries being pretty useless. Used this along with wet & dry sandpaper, and finishing off with a heavy cutting polish followed up by a fine Polish I managed to get rid of a nasty scrape over 2 doors.

I ordered this through HT EU and it arrived very quickly (before the delivery date) in good condition. I had a slight problem - which HT EU rectified very quickly (They replied to my email in less than 24hrs). I haven't done a full paint correction yet, but am very happy with the trial I did - the polisher seems to have plenty of power, is sturdy and built well (i'm old school and associate weight with quality), and looks as though it will last. The cable is a decent length. It is well balanced in use, and as Jason has said, doesn't stall. The kit that comes with it - 3" and 4" backing plates, discs, sanding pads, microfibre pads, mitt, apron, polishes (2), conditioning brush and carry bag - makes it a "Complete Starters kit in a box", and even more value for money!! I bought this polisher to compliment my 5" polisher by getting into the smaller places it would be difficult use the larger polisher in. If memory serves me correctly - I would think that this polisher and my other 5" weren't too far apart in weight. My 5" polisher is 900W and this 3"/4" polisher is 780W - so power shouldn't be an issue. As for price, this polisher - with all the extras- was just over HALF the price of my 5" polisher !!

Absolute rubbish tried it today for the first time and it doesn't work and I can no longer return it over £100 wasted. Do not recommend and now cant contact anyone

Very happy with this item. I did want a smaller polisher for small repairs but micro polishers cost a fortune! I made a good choice though as this polisher fits into small areas fairly well. It has some heft to it in terms of weight but is manageable. The nice soft rubber power cable is useful as it bends easily. The power is from 1~6 with a nice gentle start up and spins smoothly and quietly. The 780w of power runs strong and does not stall. The power switch is not awkward as some have said and easy to get used to. The included accessories are very welcome...Apron, Carry Case, Polish, multiple sanding and polishing wheels, spare brushes, polishing cloths and spanner all packed in a good quality logo'd SPTA box. A great deal! Recommended. I started off doing my headlights. Polished them up beutifully.
