DSTE® Pro MB-D15 Vertical Battery Grip + 2X EN-EL15 for Nikon D7100 D7200 SLR Digital Camera

I have a Nikon D7100. Fit perfectly. Has the same feel and weight as if it were a part of the camera. The buttons and wheels work great. The two extra batteries were a great Plus. If you have a charged battery in the camera, you can add the battery grip and use it without the battery installed. You can use it with the batteries it comes with, or with AA batteries. You simply change the settings on your camera to know which battery (the one in the camera or the one in the grip) to use first. The grip has an easy access to change out the battery while installed. Once you tighten the grip onto the camera, it feels secure. It doesn't stop any of the regular camera functions and you still have access to all the other things (sd cards and connections). Highly recommended.

Works well, good value for the grip and two batteries. I do astrophotography time lapse as a hobby. With my limited budget and equipment, I have to wait for a new moon to fall on a weekend that I'm off, then drive 3 hours to the darkest place around. Not fun to run out of battery. I load a full battery into my camera, one in the grip, and set it up on a tripod with 30 second exposures in minute or three intervals and the two batteries get me through the night, although dead in morning. I haven't tested it on warm night yet, may last even longer when not freezing. Seems to be made of good quality materials, although I haven't compared it to the nikon version, due to cost. Shutter release, dials, and buttons work as expected, but I don't use them. Used on D7100

I'm very happy with this grip, especially considering the significant price difference between the DSTE and the OEM Nikon grip. I've had no problems using it on the camera and the batteries seem to work just as well as the OEM Nikon batteries.The grip is light weight and seems to be well made. It will flex slightly if you put it on a tripod, but I've had the same problem with the OEM Nikon grips that I have on my other Nikon DSLRs.Bottom line, for me anyway, is that this is the 3rd DSTE grip that I have purchased. I have one on both my d800 and my d7000. I've saved a ton of money on both the grips and the DSTE batteries that I've purchased. Very happy with their products.

Fits really well on my Nikon D7100. No loose play, tight fitting. Controls work really well.

This grip has all of the features of the name brand grip. Well built and matches the camera body perfectly. There is a screw hole on the bottom that does allow you to connect it to your tripod or monopod. Light weight and adds more of a handhold for people with big hands.

Work fine, the grip is good. but I have 1 battery that is dead after just few months

I just ordered a second one today for my backup camera. I have used the first one now for a year on my main camera for professional use and have not had one problem. Great build quality and the buttons and dials work and feel good. Although the batteries included do not last as long as an OEM Nikon battery they are still very good. you can never have too many batteries when on a long shoot. Would buy this product again! In fact I DID! lol.

I should disclaimer this review by saying I'm not a professional photographer, but have spent enough time to know that they can be very hard on their gear. I'm not that guy. I'm also not a heavy user--but when I do need my camera, it's often for an extended period of time away from a charger. So I started looking at battery solutions. I fully expected this to be a major downgrade from the OEM unit--which would make sense, given it's a fraction of the price. I suppose I have a few small nits about it, but-honestly-I am quite pleasantly surprised as to the fit and finish. (and I'm a product manager, so I'm really picky about things like how a button 'feels.' Yes, I suppose the buttons don't have quite the same feel as the nikon equivalents (but not bad) and the latch for the battery door might not stand up to super heavy (and careless) use over a long period of time, but--then again, I could replace this several times and still have money left over. I think I would call it a "very good" deal at this price without the batteries included, but to get TWO lithium cells, AND the grip AND the AA cell sled is a GREAT deal. Really.No hesitation recommending this!

Fits great on my D7200. All functions work correctly. Extra batteries are work great and holding a charge. For a quarter of the price this does a great job

Dopo aver acquistato questo prodotto devo dire che ho riscontrato un problema, collegandola alla macchinetta fotografica, dopo un giorno e mezzo a macchinetta spenta, le due batterie, quella del BG e della D7200 erano completamente scariche. Ho deciso di non utilizzarlo per il momento ed eventualmente apportare qualche modifica circuitale ( da verificare). Le due batterie che erano a corredo dell'oggetto invece devo dire che funzionano perfettamente e userò quelle come fonte di energia alternativa anziche il BG.

1st of all let me commend the delivery time and the quality of the packaging. Excellent!2nd let me celebrate the quality of the product. Don't be put off by the branding - or to be honest, lack of branding on the box. To all intents and purposes this is a non-descript cheap alternative to the Nikon version. HOWEVER, what an alternative! I am familiar with the Nikon version as I have one on another camera. I am struggling to see the difference. It is too easy to think, hey I spent nearly £300 (Nikon) so this must be good. Equally it would be easy to say well I spent £35 ( including 2 batteries) so I have no expectation of quality. (DSTE). Both statements woukd be wrong. Fact is that this may be the best £35 I have spentInstruction leaflet is in English and very helpful. (Have the nicked this from Nikon?)2 batteries included in the deal. Nothing to complain about. They charged wellGrip has all the hallmarks of a Nikon grip. Absolutely no issues with build quality.Secures well on the body with no gaps or evidence if loose fitting. There is a sense of reassurance that it is there to stayReassurance is the key. At this point I would have no hesitation in recommending this product. Interesting to note that it took me a long time to find it on the Amazon site. Other products appear to have priority but anyone who looks further down the product list to find this with be rewarded with a gem!

Reçu comme prévu et après déballage tout à faite ce que j'attendais, matériel de bonne fabrication ensuite après essai nouvelle satisfaction car tout est parfait, du beau et bon matériel de belle fabrication, rien à envier à l'origine et de plus pour un prix bien moins élevéJe recommande ce produit sans problème.
