Don't buy!!!!
Don't buy!!! This is/was a great product. I bought two of these in May of 2016. I would have given this 4-5 stars if not for the recent news concerning this product. Lyve/Seagate is discontinuing the Lyve service. This device is dependent on the Lyve cloud service to move photos/videos easily from your smartphone to the device. It is unclear to me if this device is going to become a brick after 12/31/2016. It appears like it is going to be a brick.

Wonderful idea. I own 3, now they are junk. Typical corporate buy out to kill a technology.

Tremendous! All our photos in one place!!
I first heard about the Lyve Home Photo & Video Manager through a radio advertisement and was excited, but skeptical, about it's claims. I did some research and decided to make the purchase. The product was a Christmas gift to my family and my wife was also very excited about it's potential as I explained it to her. A few days after Christmas, we set up the unit and gave it the task of grabbing photos and videos from our two desktop computers, iPads and iPhones. To say the process has been a success would be a huge understatement...Lyve Home is simply amazing! Not only are all of our photos now stored in one central location, but we have the ability to access them from any of our electronic devices! Instead of wondering which phone had pictures from our Disney trips or to which computer we downloaded Thanksgiving photos from 2010, we can find them all in a snap. We set up the base unit in our living room and it scrolls through our pictures. The unit is slightly smaller than anticipated and would probably be best suited for a desk but, honestly, I couldn't care less. This product is wonderful!

Great idea and great product
This is such a great product and am sad to see it go. We just got back from a trip to Japan and our photos were safe on Lyve. We could share the pictures we took from any device we had hooked up. It will be missed.

Waste of money
Doesn't allow you to export on to flash drive as it said you could! Waste of money!

great product with some quirks
i like the screensaver panel on front. the only issue is that after the screen is shut off from the settings in the panel, it restarts itself back on at a later time on its own. not sure how i can remedy this issue. this is especially aggravating after you go to sleep, and the screen light starts itself back on later.
