Perfect Hot Beverage Dispenser
These are so great! I'm glad we bought two! Our coffee stays hot for 8 hours and it isn't too difficult to clean which I was nervous about. Highly recommend.

MADE IN CHINA
Clearly someone is LYING, as the description says MADE IN USA, and the box arrives made in china, and it is indeed labeled and MADE in CHINA, which is fine but shoulda been 1/2 the price then and wont expect it to last 6 months of use

Awesome investment.
Holds about 13 (10oz) cups of coffee. Great for bringing to early baseball games and swim meets. Parents love it. Swivel base is a plus. Stainless steel interior makes it sturdier for transporting around. Easy to take apart and clean.

Review and 2 Updates after 18 months and 5 years
This gallon capacity airpot holds 2 pots of coffee and keeps it hot for hours. I bought this airpot partially because of the Wilbur Curtis reputation, and was not disappointed. Highly recommended.UPDATE #1:I purchased this airpot about 18 months ago and have been using it daily. Several months ago, I noticed that it was taking more and more pumps to fill a cup, and yesterday it finally failed to draw. I called Curtis technical support and was told that while the warranty on the main part of the airpot (the bottle) was 2 years, but the warranty on the top (which contains the pump) was one year, since the top is considered a normal “wear and tear” replacement part. I was transferred to customer service, which informed me that a replacement top, part # WC-5672, would cost $30 plus shipping. I did an internet search on that part # and found that an aftermarket replacement is commonly available for half the cost. I purchased 2 of these aftermarket tops, which should last me several more years. After reading reviews of competitive airpots, I realized that the other units have the same problem with the tops. They are all constructed of plastic and will eventually fail. Also, all the airpots will leak when tipped over. Overall I am very pleased with the Curtis airpot – it has a huge capacity and keeps my coffee hot for hours. In the summer I can fill it with ice and water early in the morning, and by mid afternoon it still has ice cubes. On nice touch – Curtis customer service is friendly, US-based/English speaking and not outsourced (i.e., no hard-to-understand thick foreign accents!).UPDATE #2:Looks like the replacement lid Part number 5672 is no longer available as of June 2020. However, after some investigation I found that the “Bunn 35090.0000 2.5L/3.0L/3.8L Airpot-Sst Lid” is compatible with this Wilbur Curtis airpot. I bought it on Amazon and it fits and works just fine (price was about $26). As I mentioned, the tops are considered expendable replacement parts for all the airpots that I know of. The tops for our Wilbur Curtis usually last about 1½ years with daily use. So if you plan on keeping your airpot for a while, I suggest getting spare tops so they will be there when needed.
