Replaced my cord inside RV with this plug. Working great and much easier to use. I had a 25’ cord that wrapped up under the bathroom sink and hated it every time pulling it out then getting it back it so I cut the cord and installed this plug now I hitch a 30’ cord to it and storage in my basement

Used to replace my 50amp plug that had broken plastic. The plug easily fit my 6 gauge wires. Instructions are understandable. PVC and rubber seem durable. I had to cut back the rubber boot to fit the diameter of my cord and them wrap with electrical tape. Despite that it is a good product and I recommend.

This replacement plug was for a customer of my RV park who ripped his original apart while moving his rig with the cord still attached. Over all install was just a bigger version of any plug end replacement with larger wire that is in itself the real challenge doing this. My only complaint is the wire clamping method. The clamp is a set of arms that pivot from a fragile hinge. I unfortunately broke one of the hinges by snapping a pin off while trying to maneuver the wire into its hole. It was still useable but frustrating. A simple design improvement would be for these to be removable while connecting the wire. Otherwise I think it was a good plug and I purchased a second one to keep on hand for the next customer who damages theirs.

Received the item as promised. Easy to install in about 10 minutes. It is plastic so be careful installing it.

For the price, great....be carefully....with the locking ring, it stuck on....that's why I'm replacing it.Don't spin the locking ring too tight.

Not as good as a new cord but it will save your RV electrical cord if the end comes loose or the cord is damaged. Wire clamping internal to the plug is positive and appears to be long lasting. The yellow cover needs to be trimmed to enlarge the hole to accommodate a 50amp cord. Once assembled all seems to be good.

The plug in worked fine. I was making a short extension cord for my 50 amp RV while using a 30 amp Generator. This eliminated dragging out the heavy and stiff 25' long 50 amp power cord that came with the camper and using a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter. I simply got a 30 amp male plug to fit my generator, 10" of 10/3 SO wire and used this plug in for the camper end. I had to place a small jumper wire between the 2 hot terminals on this plug to power up both sides of the camper breaker box. Basically the same thing a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter does. No more dragging the heavy cord out of the camper while using the generator.

J'ai acheté ce modèle pour ma roulotte. Elle est sur le 30 ampères. Avec le 50 les contacts sont plus gros donc moins de surcharge. J'ai acheté le réceptacle mâle 50 ampères pour la roulotte aussi.

Product ordered, not only did it take 3 plus weeks to arrive, the product was missing the gasket seal to make it waterproof. Seriously, 110v/ 30 amp run thru this part. To add to that, I had to pay $10.19 to ship it back with the least expensive mode.First time customer and definitely LAST time customer, appalling!!
