Use when hiking. To deter aggressive wild animals and stray dogs, live in Colorado in an area with these animals present. Don't ever want to have an animal get close enough to actually use it but think it would work to help defense if actually attacked. That said, the spark sound, flash and alarm sound will scare off most animals. I have seen it work for coyote, deer in the yard eating plants and dogs. Carry bear spray also most of the time but this is easy to use and readily available and have with you most of the time. It is light and easy to carry and with wrist band to keep it readily available. Great for taking with you when taking pet out at night and can use as flaslight too.

I love this taser a lot because one it doesn’t even really look like one and two it works great the alarm is super loud i know before i bought it a ton of people said in their reviews that it wasn’t loud but that was probably because they were covering the speaker with their hands only thing that’s a problem for me is light isn’t that bright but it’s still works and at least for me is the least important part of the whole thing anyways

This is my second time to buy the stun gun because I think it’s a great one to have. But this time while opening the box and getting it out of the package, the button was accidentally hit, and I got myself with the stun gun because it was turned on while it was in the package. It was not clicked OFF like it should’ve been coming to a consumer. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok I am handicapped and I needed something to make me feel secure when I’m by myself and this works for me. I have had to use the siren portion of it when I was on the city bus in Seattle and a jerk was bothering me so I used it and it got the attention I needed to get him away from me. Creepy!Anyway I truly like this and I purchased one for my sister and she loves it. Thank you

I believe that there are something seriously wrong with the quality control for this item. That's based on the reviews here and my own personal experience.Negative:* Once the flashlight is turned on it never turns off, until the battery has been drained.* I have local off-leash dogs that have been attacking my dog. I really don't want to use this, but I have finally become willing to do so. Based on reviews I had hoped that the initial "zap" sound would be louder than it is in fact. This could be due to faults in my particular device. But I really wish it was louder to discourage the dogs approachingPositive:* If you are a female and not fond of girly pink, this has some pink that's not overpowering. I was hoping that that would make it easier to see in the dark. Probably not though.* The noise maker is okay. not as loud as I would have liked, or varied in pitch as much as I would have liked. But it might be possible to use that to discourage animals from approaching.* It is fairly compact. It's not small enough to put on a keychain, so if you're going to use it you need it an pocket.Despite the positives, my review is one star out of five is because I would never buy it again or recommend it to someone else.No matter who you are I encourage you to try out the features and make sure all of them work and do not assume that they do. it took a while for me to realize that my problems were due to the fact that the flashlight did not turn off. The battery kept draining and I did not know why, because the flashlight was on during the daylight and I was focused on the stun feature.

It is exactly what I was looking for in order to feel safer walking the streets at night when returning from the symphony or the ballet.
