Get use of all 7 slots if you space the frame away for the receiver so the slide has full travel.
A very solid piece of engineering and materials. Adjustable friction on the shell to allow you to get the feel you want. Get use of all 7 slots in the holder if you space the frame away for the receiver so the slide has full travel (between the receiver and shell carrier). Wonderful!

Good quality, solid build
Fit my 20 gauge remington 870 very well, although I had to cut away some of the wooden pump handle to be able to rack it back.It's well built, attaches firmly, and holds shells firmly in place.

Doesn’t fit 870 tactical.
DOES NOT FIT 870 TACTICAL! Pump interferes with it.

Great addition to my 870
Easy to install, looks great, and is perfect for functionality. I would not hesitate to buy again if I owned a 2nd 870 20 gauge.

Does not fit 870 Express!
Bought this for my R870 Express, and it interferes with the pump action (see picture). Very disappointed, since I was looking forward to the extra capacity, and since the general consensus is that this is a great add; seems like it would be, just not for the Express!
