Paracord Planet 325 Paracord – 3 mm Type II Nylon Parachute Cord with 3 Inner Strands (Gold, 100 ft)

Found out the hard way why there is hardly any difference in the price for 100 ft compared to only 10 ft. The 100 ft bag of cord is actually thinner than the 10 ft cord. I thought so by looking at it, and after comparing them side by side, I was right. Very sneaky. It might be stated down below in fine print, which makes it easy for the manufacturer/seller to get away with. The bottom line, it's not the same cord.

I bought this cord to create a lanyard for a Bushnell 850 rangefinder and it was a perfect fit for the holes

Original review!No problem with the paracord itself, except that I ordered 2 packs of the same yellow and they are 2 different shades. One looks brighter than the other. (See first image).May 8th 2023Bought multiple colors of the 325 strand cord before and they were all the same thickness and quite sturdy. The batch I received recently are not all the same thickness, as a matter of fact most of the colors are thinner. All of the packaging says 325 on them but they are definitely not all the same thickness (See images attached). This is a problem for me as I use these mainly to wrap the handles of padded weaponry that I manufacture for martial arts training. If I use two colors that are not the same thickness the handles don’t feel nice and smooth, rather, they feel bumpy and uneven.Also, one of the colors I ordered was Coyote Brown but I received a Tan-ish brown as opposed to the actual color that was shown. I’ve attached photos - the 2nd image is what I received, the 3rd image is a screenshot of what Amazon had as the product color.

Work's great for the project I'm working on

This is 325 and not the standard 550 Paracord. As such it is a little thinner than 550 and it is very obvious when you use it with 550 in any applications. That being said it still works great for many of the same projects, but I am not as happy with the overall product or looks when project are completed. It is a little more flimsy and softer than 550. After using it in a few projects I will be using 550 or higher grade from now on for most things I make.

Comes as a hank (no spool). The three core threads run parallel with no twisting inside giving it a consistant feel and no distortion of the braided cover. Great for small scale projects where strength is not essential. Great for fancy knot zipper pulls, lanyards, and COVID-19 mask straps. More colors available than at my local craft store.

Actually, the size and depth of bins is great! Plus, about a five minute setup! I plan to purchase three more.

Good quality, at least so far. I'm using for braiding and making jewelry (bracelets and necklaces) which this Paracord has done well. I haven't used it for anything extreme, exposed it to the elements, or tested the strength of the cord.

Did the job

I have purchased several colors of 325 paracord from Paracord Planet and I now know what I have been missing . The quality of this paracord is way above what I have been used to . Very vibrant colors and so well packaged when received . If you are looking for paracord I highly recommend this supplier .

Colour is nice, but it's FAR too thin and coarse. Unfortunately, I can't return it because the shipping cost isn't covered even with Prime, and it will cost more to send it back than to keep it.

Thickness is right and color is also nice. Thank You.
