My longest-lasting thumb drive to date
I've used about every style of thumb drive out there, and this is the first one that holds up to living on my key ring. The average lifespan of a thumb drive on my key ring was previously 8 months. If its eyelet broke and it floated loose in my pocket, they could last up to 2-3 years, but still they were short-lived. I purchased this one almost 4 years ago. It failed after around 6 months, but I got a warranty replacement, and that one has been kicking for 3+ years and counting. Ive finally found a drive where I'm happy with its durability!

Great drive and customer support
I keep these on our equipment key chains, I bring a lawn mower in to repair or service and have oil change, part breakdown, owner’s manual and other info all in one handy place. Had this drive about three months and it turned into a read only drive. I could read the data but could not erase or add new data to the drive. Sent an email to Gorilla drive tech support and about a week later I had a new drive. I’m now replacing my stick drives at work with Gorilla drives. I had a Lexar stick drive at work and it stopped working. Three months and several emails later I finally received a refund for that drive (I will never buy Lexar again). This is a great rugged drive and great customer support if things go south…Buy this drive you can’t go wrong!

I love the them and love the tough look they stand out easy to find on my mess desk
Well made. middle price range for a rugged flash drive As a Graphic designer, I back up my work obsessively. And while I back it up in several different locations in different ways, this Gorilla Drive has been an excellent choice for when I need to take my work outside of the house. It's sturdy - even rugged - and I've never yet had one corrupt my files. There's plenty of storage space, and the price is comparable to other, less well-built brands. Overall, I will definitely continue to buy my flash drives from Gorilla Drive!

Gorilla flash drives are good
I have had a 50gb gorilla flash drive that I bought at walmart for around 6 years now and it has been amazing, but its starting to slow and down and have problems and since i'm a digital artist I didn't want to possibly lose all my file so I decide to purchase a new one with more space to it. Unfortunately the flash drive stopped working only a couple days after I got it while I was sorting files, its through no fault of the seller I bought it from, but they were very kind and offered a refund or replacement. Currently asking about a replacement because I do feel like the Gorilla brand is good, just sometimes you get bad eggs.

Nice looking, weighty-feeling, but mysteriously died after only 9 months.
Died after only 9 months. Kept one around my neck, one in a pocket in my backpack. Neither got wet. I had them encrypted with Veracrypt which works with all other flashdrives I've used it on, as backups of my stuff. Then it started giving me problems trying to backup my stuff on it (which I only do occassionally, not daily). It was skipping more and more files, so I tried to format it and the whole flashdrive crashed into read-only. I tried every trick I could find to re-set this and it's all remaining read-only. I don't know what happened. It is a hefty-feeling drive, really nice weight to it, it doesn't feel hollow. I had high hopes. Don't know what went wrong!

This product is absolutely horrible. The product uses a really cheap memory controller and memory chips. I was backing up files onto the drive using my computer's USB 3.0 slot, and it suddenly disconnected by itself. What I assume is the memory controller got too hot and it shut itself off. I do not have this problem when it's plugged into the USB 2.0 drive, but it's too slow, although that it to be expected. Although consider this: Even when it was transferring files through USB 3.0 I found the file transfer to be insanely slow. What's the point of having a rugged USB key when it's slow and it disconnects by itself while using USB 3.0? I bought a cheap Verbatim USB drive and that worked fine with USB 3.0. Slow, but fine. If you really want a good rugged USB Key, get a Corsair Survivor instead. That's actually made with good quality parts.
