I am very satisfied with my order and that it came sooner than expected
I once owned this book but lost it years ago. I want to have it in my library again and look forward to reading it. Than you.

Fabulous book; very well written.
Accurately sums up the accounts of the visionaries up to that point in time, and the world's reaction.

I was a nominal Catholic at best in 1994 when I happened to read this book one weekend when the family went out of town to visit relatives. I was not much of a reader at the time, but I oculd not put it down. I can say that it completely changed my life then and up to the present. It had a major impact on other family members and many others I know. Medjugorje itself was personally promoted by Pope John Paul II to many he came in contact with, including Mother Teresa, many Cardinals, Bishops, and Priests. Because of its world-wide significance, in an unprecedented manner the Vatican has taken authority over it and is expected to make some type of pronouncement over it in 2013 or soon thereafter. In my opinion, there is no better place in the world to make a pilgrimage or to send a family member or friend who is in need of a spiritual conversion. Mary's role is simply to bring others to her Son and to teach us that God truly exists. It seems it is virtually impossible to come away from Medjugorje (or simply from reading the book) without experiencing a major change in your life.

How do you put a value on a book that will change your life forever?
This book about Medjugorje was really co-written by Wayne Weibel and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, who has appeared in Medjugorje now for almost 30 years. So, to review a book like this is somewhat different than any other review someone attempts. The girl that first sent this book to me prayed that I would be led by the Holy Spirit in reading the material, and I really did have that experience. What else can I say other than, like most other people who have seriously considered this book, it has totally changed my life forever. Like the 6 visionaries who have lived with the Virgin Mary's guiding influence in their lives since July 24, 1981, I have lived a new and enlightened life since I first read this book at Christmas, 1992. If you are open-minded at all, you will never be the same. You will not really read this book but will experience it, in one way or another. Whether or not you like Wayne Weibel's writing style will not really matter very much. You will be entering into a whole new world, with experiences only you will be able to put a value on.

Medjugorje told by an author who was skeptical at first but came to believe
This was the first book written by Wayne Weible on the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Medjugoje. It is a powerful account of how a Protestant was made aware of the apparitions and, despite his initial skepticism, had to accept the truth of them, developed a relationship with the Virgin Mary, wrote about what he had heard and experienced, and eventually converted to Catholicism based on these powerful experiences.Had he already been Catholic, his writings would have held less impact. Because this all came from another Christian denomination, it just holds up to us all the universality of this experience. Mary isn't coming just for Catholics--not even just for Christians, but for anyone who hears and responds to her message of love, prayer, fasting, listening to and responding to the call of her Son, and conversion.Mr. Weible presents this to the reader in a beautiful and well-documented form.

Like Being There
"Medjugorje, the Message" may not be for everyone. For example, if you are already certain what God will, and will not do, then this book will not inform you. However, if you are interested in knowing how the alleged apparitions began, who the visionaries are, what is Mary inviting us to do, and how is the world responding, you will look long before finding a better book. In addition, it was written by a Protestant who began his personal investigation as a journalist. This gives his writing style a highly credible quality and allows the reader to form his own impressions based on facts. As someone who has himself visited Medjugorje, this book is as close to being there as you can get!

A really thought provoking book
The book with in superb condition. Arrived promptly. I am really enjoying the content. It gives an excellent insight into Medjugorje in the early days. It has also enforced the power of prayer and how it is important to find time to pray every day and why the rosary is a special prayer not only to our Lady but it all about the life of Jesus.

A Farce bordering on the Blasphemous
As a practising Catholic I was in two minds whether to read this book or not. However I read it with an open-mind and would say that in my opinion the WHOLE of the 'Medjugorje Phenomenon' is a fraud and has been from Day One, with it being turned into a 'Tourist Attraction' by the inhabitants of the town - it can no longer be called a village - adding extensions, Satellite TV , etc for paying guests of which there are thousands.A large number of 'writers' have authored books and articles on the subject and made a mint in the process. Tour Companies have been sending pilgrims there by the thousands for decades and it is in the interest of all these different factions to keep this particular RUSE going. I would ask people who have said they have 'had my life transformed' to consider this: Is it REALLY likely that the Blessed Virgin Mary has been 'appearing' every day for nearly 30 years? Delve a little and find out a little of the background of the 'visionaries' and Priests and the circumstances of when, where, how the 'apparitions' have allegedly 'appeared'.Medjugorje IS scandalous as is everyone who has participated in ensuring this trickery has continued.According to THIS and many other books on the subject the BVM has been 'summoned' almost at will and has been 'laughing with the 'visionaries'. Proposterous, tripe and THAT is why the Vatican having committed 2 investigations into it has STILL refused to give it their vote of confidence? Try reading Michael Davies - Medjugorje, A Warning or one of Donal Foleys excellent books to get an honest, un-biased view.
