I don’t know why, but I was expecting something more delicate. It’s beautifully crafted with a lot of thought for form and function in a “your life is on the line in a survival situation.” Fit and finish is spot on. If in your adventures you find yourself in a serious situation, you will be glad you brought this blade along.

If you are looking for a quality survival/camp knife look no further. This thing was incredibly sharp out of the box and had a great hand feel. Was heavier than I expected (even though I read the weight before I bought it) and I was amazed at how thick the knife was once I got it in my hand.

The best on the market. This girl is a beast. It has weight, but not so much that it makes it tough to control. This is a tough blade. Not to be underestimated. I carried a machete from Guyana for a month in the Belizian Jungle and this knife will do just fine anywhere not jungle. Hope that made sense. The handle worked well for a block on my bowdrill. Solid knife that can handle all of the camping take you throw at it. Chopping small limbs to splitting wood for fire starting, this is the perfect outdoor knife I have bought to date.

Before I bought it, I checked to make sure it came from an ESEE authorized dealer and it was. I got my knife pretty quick and it's everything I was looking for. This is a seriously BADD-ASS knife. It weighs in a 1lb and feels good in your hand. This isn't a toy, it's a tool and there is no doubt that this will perform in the wild.GO GET IT!

This knife is a beast. Absolute work horse and even just holding it for the first time you can feel the quality and just know that it won't let you down. So far it has been my go to, I would definitely get a second one maybe in a smaller size for regular camping or outings in the woods.

Built to last of high quality materials, this knife is extremely sturdy and just feels good in your hand. Highly recommend as a survival knife to take out in the woods, hike, or hunt. Too large for EDC, but perfect for specialized usage.

Ningún cuchillo a excepción de la marca extrema ratio da tanta confianza cómo esta pieza, es una pieza extremadamente atractiva a la vista, impone su diseño, la funda es de Kydex de buen grosor que garantiza un uso que vence el pasar del tiempo. El cuchillo es indudablemente una obra maestra de la cuchillería. Como consejo les doy que asienten el filo con cuero, sin pasta abrasiva y verán lo que es capaz de hacer este cuchillo de uso extremo, tanto táctico como de supervivencia. Infalible 100%.

El cuchillo es impresionante. Uno de los cuchillos mas robustos que conozco (y tengo muchos). Enterizo, acero al carbono 1095 y con un gran espesor de hoja (quizás para algunos demasiado). La empuñadura es de micarta, muy resistente y con muy buen agarre. El filo de fabrica corta como una hoja de afeitar. La funda de Kydex también es una de las mejores fundas que tengo. Lo que menos me gusta es el sistema de sujeción al cinturón, pero si no te gusta se puede cambiar por otro (tipo Tek-Lok, MOLLE-Lok, etc). Un autentico tanque de cuchillo capaz de resistir el trabajo mas duro.

Coltello di ottima qualità e materiali come mi aspettavo.Purtroppo la confezione in plastica sigillata, con la quale Esee consegna i suoi coltelli a garanzia di integrità del prodotto, era completamente aperta, strappata. Evidentemente qualcuno prima di imballare il prodotto ha voluto darci un'occhiata da vicino. Fortunatamente non mancava nulla ed il prodotto è esente da difetti. Spero che vengano presi provvedimenti affinché non si verifichino più episodi simili.
