How Termador works
I use to work for a pest control company in Chicago and they told us not to use this unless we had to because of the cost for the product.I used it on a house that had a history of ant problems for over ten years. She had several companies try and get rid of them and none did. First application of this product she called into the office and told them I ended her ant infestation. I used it again on a colon of carpenter bees which were eating away at a cedar gazebo. They also called in singing praises of my work. My boss went livid that I used it again on someone else's home. I was told to only use it if they had termites and to call into the office first. I'm telling you as a licensed pest exterminator in two states this is the best product out there. Dominion is also good but it only last seven years where this will last ten. It should be sprayed around the outside and very limited spraying inside. I hope this was helpful,

You won't get a 20oz bottle
This is not a 20oz it is a 4oz and sellers won't respond at all.

Works like a charm.
I've used this for over ten years and recommend it to anyone with an ant problem. It is what the pros use for ants and termites. It is expensive, but it does work. I am still on my first container and bought this bottle as a gift for a relative.

Effective for 10 years for Termites, Save $1000s if you do it yourself
Termidors patent expired and now the chemical is available from different manufactures and now also available to the general public. In the past only licensed pest control companies could use it. The companies charge an exorbitant and offensive amount for a little bit of labor. You can now save $1000s if you do it yourself. This Termidor available on Amazon is in the fact the exact same chemical with the exact same concentrations that the professional exterminator companies use. We know this becuase we took a picture of the can the exterminator brought with them when they treated our house. Read on for our experience using Termidor.Termidor is a type of insecticide that doesn't kill the termite immediately. It gets on their bodies where they take it back to the colony. They do not sense the chemical and do not avoid it and eventually the poisen spreads it through the colony killing all including the queen. It is equally effective against dry wood and terrestrial termites. Termidor claims a trench application is good for 10 years and I believe it. The 20z bottle makes 25 gallons of treatment. As you read on you'll see why you need to much.TERRESTRIAL TERMITES: We found external tunnels built by the termites on the inside of our house. The use these tunnels to reach out for more wood material to eat. See the pictures attached showing a tunnel reaching up and also them digging through drywall.. The treatment was to dig a small trench and pour the Termidor into the trench allowing it to percolate into their tunnels where they carry back into the colony and kill the entire colony. We had this treatment done 12 years ago and the termites recently appeared again. This time, we retreated ourselves, digging a small trench outside the wall in the picture and pour some gallons of the diluted Termidor in the trench saving 1000s from what we were quoted to do the menial same work. We have seen no reinfestation or tunnel building since our treatment.DRY WOOD TERMITES: Termidor works equally well for dry wood termites. Dry wood termites tend to penetrate from the outside ceiling rafters and dig their way along the rafters. In our case we noticed a mound of round debri at one of our wood base boards on our 2nd story. Close inspection revealed a pin size hole that the termites used to push out their excrement. See the picture attached. This debris is call frass and is termite excrement. For this treatment, the rafter on the other side of the wall where the frass was found, in the attic, was drilled with a small holes every 6 inches in a zig zag pattern and the Termidor was injected into the holes. The theory being that all these drilled holes will intersect a live termite tunnel or at least near enough so the chemical soaks through and allow the Termidor to get on the termites body. For us this treatment was done 12 years ago and we have not seen a reinfestation since. One caution: If you find termites and plan to use Termidor do not spray a killing pesticide on them. If you do, they will avoid the nearby tunnels making it more difficult to get the termidor on them. Leave the tunnels intact and then spray the Termidor into the existing live termite tunnels.
