This is a very lightweight and warm jacket that is perfect for spring and fall.For cold winter weather you will need to wear warm clothes underneath, but to be sure you will be able to do that you should order one size larger.I take a large and ordered a large. This jacket fits perfectly, actually almost too well since there isn't much room underneath for heavy clothing. Fortunately there are shirts and undershirts now days that are also lightweight and very warm; I can wear one of them under the jacket with a denim or other winter shirt but feel somewhat constricted when I do.If I were to order again I would get the X-large. This large is larger than a normal medium, but a little smaller than some other size large winter coats that I have.The zipper goes all the way to your chin so cold air can't pass down through the neck opening. Wear a scarf with it to really block the cold air.There are 2 large and deep zippered pockets on the front of the jacket at just the right height for your hands. They are roomy enough to comfortably take your entire hand up to the wrist. The zipper pulls are so small it is hard to find these pockets. To make it easy for you, look for them on the first vertical thread line on either side of the main zipper.Inside there are also two large and deep pockets, but no zipper. The outside and inside pockets are sort of on top of each other, but they are separate. Cold air can't pass from one to the other.A stuff bag comes with the jacket; it is just large enough to hold the jacket, as you can see in one of the photos. With jacket stuffed in, the bundle is about 9"x5"This is a jacket with little bulk and weight that is handy to have available as the weather turns cooler. It is lightweight, warm and packable.

I went from a Med. to a Large to X-lg. I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds (and got refunds when I returned the other two, no problem). But I love it now. Just took dogs walking, wore a light turtleneck and this jacket, weather in the 50's, and I was plenty warm. The sleeves are a bit too long: perfect for cold weather, and I can roll them back easily. Great dark red color, nice light weight, good collar, good zipper, good pockets--the pocket zippers don't snag my hands. It's about the 7th jacket I've tried this winter, and the best, especially for the price.

So this IS a woman's jacket, you can tell because the zipper is on the other side, but I didn't even notice, probably because Amazon has a picture of a man wearing it on the store page. But whatever, it works. It's warm, it's light, it packs up fairly well (I can fit it in the pocket of my cargo hiking pants). Only problem is cheap stitching. It came with a small hole (that I just threw a piece of tape on), but even without that, the down slowly leaks out of it. Not only does that really limit how long I will be able to wear this thing before it becomes useless, but it also means that, every time I wear it, my clothes are covered in small feathers. I have two cats and a dog, so I am used to being covered in stuff, but others may not like that. It's also discolored a little around the neck from me sweating in it just a few times. However, it fits well, it looks good, and it's warm, so for the price, it's a great extra layer to have for camping or hiking.

This is an AMAZING product! I've always been a little skeptical of the down "poofy" jackets. If they would actually keep you warm or permit you from moving. This jacket is made very well, I checked all the stitching. Super light, it even comes with a bag for easy travel/packing. You can compress it into almost nothing, size wise, for storage purposes. And it's so warm. It took only seconds after I put the jacket on for it to start absorbing the heat from my body and just retained all of it. I highly recommend.

This jacket was awful even if it did fit properly. I ordered a xl and it fit like a medium. The jacket was short (like the picture shows) and so skin tight I could not have worn more than a tiny t-shirt under it to get it zipped. The fabric was so shiny and looked like it was made from garbage bags. Even if it fit I would have returned because it looked so cheap.

I bought the black one in medium for my 145 lbs 5' 4.5 tall body and it fit fine everywhere except around my hips where it was tight. The jacket is very light which I liked but it also looked like a shiny garbage bag. I was hoping it would look better than the picture it looks exactly like the pic and hits at the same spot it does on the model. It would be good for plane rides and 50-60 weather anything below it won't protect your because it's very lightweight.

This packable down jacket was the best thing I purchased to bring on my Alaskan cruise. It's so thin, but warm, and it can be layered with other tops/jackets. I loved the fact that it was packable so I could roll it up and put it in it's little bag and throw in my backpack on port excursions. It DOES shed to your shirts a little, but if you want an inexpensive, thin lightweight, warm, packable jacket.. this is perfect.

This jacket is perfect! I’ve wanted a puffer jacket for months now, but could never find the right one. I wanted it to be really soft to the touch and easily packable. Most puffer jackets are a bit bulky but this one is not! I’m 5”8 150lbs. I usually wear a medium but it was recommended in the reviews to order a size up so I did and it fits perfectly. Haven’t worn it too many times yet so I’m not sure how it holds up. Pockets inside are awesome and deep, and comes with a little bag to shove the bag into for traveling. Very happy with my purchase.
